flyboy
This is becoming more public now with the amount of sightings becoming fairly common, especially near bases with transport sections throughout the world.Interesting tech involved. What do you guys think?http://robocat.users.btopenworld.com/tr3b.htm

Captain_Thunder
It can't be very stealthy with all those lights on its underside.
congo
It can't be very stealthy with all those lights on its underside. The lights just make you think its there but its really someplace else.
Crusty
The lights just make you think its there but its really someplace else.Wow, that's really clever :eek2: can they do the same for me when I'm supposed to be at work
Hackworth
dead link to me... the lights may help during the day to make the aircraft "match" the sky. i read some clancy novel that described a method like this. it *must* be true Speaking of which, my paps sent me an email with a bunch of pics of a new stealth fighter (F/A-37?). I had never seen this one until he showed me. looks like instead of folding wings it has some crazily sweeping wings. Check out these 4 pics: http://s77.photobucket.com/albums/j66/DHackworth/AC/

See?! I'm not crazy! It's not a movie! It's REAL!
Norfolk
It can't be real - it looks too good to be real. Besides, there ain't enough cash for the full F-22 run, never mind the F-35...:cul:
Hackworth
ah, that was a taste of my sarcasam.
Scrapper_511
Haha, Hackworth. You made me look. I concur, it's from "Stealth".
Homer
It's based on a real stealth design proposal called the "switchblade". I think it came from Lockheed.
Norfolk
ah, that was a taste of my sarcasam. Sarcasm you say? I though you were building a case worthy of presentation to a Senate Sub-Committee.
flyboy
Wasn,t the Switchblade just a paper study?Thats the problem with all the "secret" stuff being done.I just posted the "Flying Triangles" due to the many similarities of sightings being made public around the globe. It,s like they exist and are common but no one is coming out and saying,"hey look what we have now"..edit..looks like the Switchblade is now the Bird of Prey.. http://www.air-attack.com/page.php?pid=1
Homer
Yes, it was just a design study. I mentioned it in reference to the movie "Stealth" whose plane is based on the Switchblade. This site has some info about it: http://www.area51zone.com/aircraft/switchblade.shtmlAs for your flying triangle, it might be a X-plane... a couple of the recent ones are triangle in shape (X-33?)
