Gibsonm
Well after almost ten years of valued service, if you have 3.023 and aren't intending to host a session, we can pretty much retire this thread.
tarball
Did the thread get a retirement watch or pen? I am so out of touch with the game now. Â How does it resolve these issues? Â Is it UPnP?

Rotareneg
As per this thread: You only need to forward 2 ports for a SB 4 host: 2300 and 2400, UDP.
tarball
I got it, but is that because the client side is using UPnP now?
Rotareneg
No, when the client sends UDP packets to the host when initially connecting, the client router will keep that port open as long as there's at least some activity on it, the process is called Hole punching. My router was not recognizing TCP/UDP ports 2300 thru 2400 for some reason, but worked with UDP only for 2300 and 2400. Weird.  Works again. Edited July 19, 2017 by Apocalypse 31
