Zipuli
The loved and hated Ural truck is now available in Finnish camo for winter and summer. The Finns used a bunch of soviet trucks especially in the war time (soviet equipped) Armoured Brigades in the 1990s. They were propably not the most reliable, but at least very easy to repair and the terrain mobility was phenomenal. Some still remain in use, keeping the air fresh by burning 100 liters on 100 kilometers along with a few liters of motor oil... So keep your wunderbaum close by! Though the Finns never used the Ural as a fueler, that possibility is now avaiable for SB users =)
Zipuli
Tragedy's a comin' The Finnish Leopard 2A4 is soon ready, with all the nice little details like stuck leaves on the air intake grills, MG belt, camo nets and so on... Winter version is still lacking the snow. Also the turret top and interior (with Finnish translations) are yet to come =)

Zipuli
The Leo 2A4 is uploaded and awaiting approval. Included are Summer, autumn and winter skins and track/cloth files for summer and winter + Finnish decals. I will add the turret roof and Finnished interior later on... Have fun and remember to wear the black beret and tankers hat on top of each other for maximum Finnish tanker effect!

Climber
Also this is soon ready: Why did you buy our weapons?
SeanPatrick
Yeah, I'm curious about that too. Why soviet equipment? Not that it's inferior, just seems to me like it would create some confusion.
Fabfire
That was before Leopards 2A4 were widely available in the market.
Zipuli
Climber, back during cold war we had a neutral policy, and even weapon purchase was "neutral": buy 1 3rd western (like Saab Draken fighters, TOW missiles etc.), 3rd eastern (like T-55, Igla, T-72M1, russians even sold the SA-3 SAMs) and make the last 3rd yourself (like most light weapons, PASI APCs...). When the DDR collapsed, we bought a lot of stuff from the Germans, willing to sell a LOT of the stuff for a very minimal price. Most the latest soviet equipment came from this shopping trip (most T-72s, BMP-1s, 2S1s, artillery, trucks, small arms... you name it). Last batch came from Russia... Back then Russia was up to its neck in depts, and they sent some military equipment to Finland to pay back the depts. Stuff like BMP-2s, newer Iglas, Buk... Going mostly for western equipment began after the cold war, mostly during late 1990s onwards... But still we have a quite unique mix of east and west. And saying that, here is the Finnish 2S1, known as PSH74 here...

Wicked
Nice mix of units. I like that Zip: is it possible you make the Fin roundel less clean?
Zipuli
Nice mix of units. I like that Zip: is it possible you make the Fin roundel less clean? Possible, but as we use stickers, they tend to remain clean... =) And here is an XA-180 substitute... Fuchs in Finnish colours.

Zipuli
Next up, literally... In addition to the Finnish camo and markings, added some more dirt and wear and tear, as well as some very light lighting/shadowing... Available for download =) Edited January 9, 2012 by Zipuli
