Hedgehog
Today, 24th of December in the year of our lord (or other selected heathen deity) 2012. I have been a satisfied customer of Steel Beasts since 2006. Version 2.224?? (Anyway the one before 2.238) Having played SB1 for about a year (when everyone was blathering on about SB Pro PE,I saw some you tube videos and thought, why not, so I splurged $125 on a brand spanking new copy of SB. Ssnake, Our Favorite Sales (and now principle) Geschaftsfuhrer, I have enjoyed every bloody minute of it! I remember when... Infantry were sprites. You had, None, Defend, Guard & Die in place (Hold) Tactical options. No Start Mission Battle Ready No RWS systems, No NVG systems No CV90s at all, not 1, even the 40B was a mere dream. No Challenger 2 No Pizarro No MRVs (I think) 1 Flavour of M1 & T-72 Same Level Lighting Basic Dust system SB1 era artillery sounds The only Helicopter was a HIND (I think) No Bushmasters No ASLAVs Leo 2a4 and Leo 1A5DK had a basic interior The M1 Gunners station was a basic sight setup. And 3/4s of the vehicles were un crewable. (I had not killed a Tree with artillery. ) So eSim has made a helluva lot of progress. Looking forward to more!!

Members Ssnake
Thank you for the compliments to the team. Technically the anniversary was in late March (and the first official release was 2.251), although I still think in terms of a continuous development since 1995 (even though I met Al Delaney only two years later), or since late August 2000 when the first version of Steel Beasts was officially launched.
