I'm hoping for a note soon that it's confirmed on. Maybe even a staffing list, but I'll be glad just to arrive and get slotted in almost anywhere. Hope we get cfm shortly. Zipuli Posted May 2, 2013 Author Share Posted May 2, 2013 Days after the successful defence of Utti, the situation has changed. The enemy attack is stopped and they are forced to withdraw bit by bit. The city of Kouvola is still held by strong enemy forces, but further south the line is more thinly spread. The NBG has been formed into a combat team, with approximately company of mech inf and company of tanks, plus supporting units. This unit, under Duke, received orders to march from Utti to South-West towards Inkeroinen, where a friendly attack has opened a possible corridor into enemy flank... The town of Inkeroinen is lightly held, approximately a company size force is guarding the town. They are not dug in heavily, but rather deployed for a mobile delay. There is an intact bridge over River Kymijoki. The enemy is supposedly keeping the bridge intact for possible counterattacks... Currently they are low on forces in this area, and the only support they can muster is a reaction force of approximately a company size from Kouvola. If NBG manages to quickly punch through the enemy screen and defences, it's possible to cut the enemy MSR west of Kymijoki and force the enemy into full retreat. Mission: Attack to Inkeroinen, neutralize encountered enemies. Take and hold the bridge (OBJ YODA), and push west to take OBJ TECHNOVIKING. Establish blocking positions facing north on both sides of river Kymijoki to block the possible counterattack from Kouvola. When TECHNOVIKING is taken, establish an OP line at marked OP locations 1-2. Prepare to support the main attack that will cut the enemy MSR. NBG Staffing List: NOTE: The order of battle is up to Duke to form for this scenario. He can use the assets as will, to form teams and such...
