daniel.j.gillette
Hey everyone, myself and another guy in my unit were trying to hook up via the internet so we could practice some TC/gunner skills. He has no problems with online connections with this simulator. My computer cannot find his IP address or port or anything when he is acting as a host, nor can his computer find mine when I am acting as a host. My computer is a 32-bit Vista. I have tried disabling Windows Firewall and Norton Internet Security, but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Members Ssnake
Both you and your friend may be behind a router with network address translation. The routers' settings may block that a connection will be established. Search this forum for keywords like "router", "DMZ", or "port forwarding" and it will give you the threads that discussed these things in detail.
