Ghostwarrior
Hi I try joining your 29th Armor Reg. When I click on join it takes me to the contacts so when I fill it out it give me an error message. So where do I join?
hoggydog
Hi Ghost,I'm not sure that 29th Armour are still operating. What timezone are you in? I'm sure there is a VU that is gaming at a good time for you.
Gibsonm
Hoggydog,Sorry resident "time zone nazi" question. How can you meet at 2000 GMT/BST since they are 1 hour apart (at least when BST exists)?

Gibsonm
Welcome Ghostwarrior, Hmm, well that's a 20 hour offset to BG ANZAC (GMT + 10). So to attend our 1930 Thursday meeting would be what 2330 on Wednesday night for you? Not saying don't visit, but suspect it wont be convenient. Perhaps the US 3rd Armored Div or Canadian 1st Armoured Div? Edited May 5, 2014 by Gibsonm

MDF
I'm almost certain the 29th is defunct. To my knowledge, the currently active (to one degree or another) VUs are:North America:1st Canadian Armoured [CA]3rd Armored [uS]EuropeUK Armour [uK]Panzerbataillon 911 [GE]TARGET [GE]507 RCC [FR]3er Regimiento Acorazado Tizona [ES] (word on the street is that they have reactivated after a period of dormancy)Australia/New Zealand:BG ANZACI'll also throw in that I'm attempting to organize a realism-oriented group for weekly missions at the United Operations gaming group. See here to decide whether this is of any interest to you. Right now, it's looking line we will be playing either on Saturdays somewhere between 1900-2400z or Sundays somewhere between 1700-0100z. It's conceivable we may run a supplemental mission during the week somewhere around 2200-0200z. Additionally, another member recently posted about his effort to stimulate a regular, realism-oriented mission at the 15th MEU VU (website). He may try to combine his efforts with mine over at United Ops.
hoggydog
Hoggydog,Sorry resident "time zone nazi" question. How can you meet at 2000 GMT/BST since they are 1 hour apart (at least when BST exists)? Ahh but by the same token how can we meet on both Sunday and Wednesday? Because in all cases they are mutually exclusive (at least here in the UK). but I take your point, I will edit my signature to avoid future confusion.
Tjay
I will edit my signature to avoid future confusion.Hoggy, I may be missing a simple point here, but doesn't your sig say '20:00 BST (GMT+1)? That is currently correct: what's the problem?
