Servus,

I`m sitting on the translation for the COLD WAR BATTLE III.

In this mission a platoon of 6 Bradleys is playable.

You can operate this platoon with 3 pairs.

The PLT LDR in my mission is C41. Who is his wingman?

The PLT SGT is C44. Who is his wingman?

Who is the LDR of the 3rd pair?

cheers

Servus,

another question to the bumper codes of the ACR vehicles.

I found a picture of a Squadron Commander with the bumper code HQ66 and one pictures with the vehicle of the 2IC with the number HQ33.

Is HQ33 right or has the 2IC the bumper code HQ67 like a 2IC of a Troop?

cheers

"The three Cavalry Troops of each Squadron are each equipped with nine M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tanks, 13 M3A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, and two 120mm Mortar carriers. The Howitzer Battery, is equipped with six of the 155mm M109 SP Howitzers. The Tank Company is equipped with 14 M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tanks. Rounding out this combat power are two more M3A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles for the Squadron Commander and his S-3. "

Attached image is from FM 17-95-10 Armored Cavalry Regiment and Squadron 22 Sep 93

It shows the CO and S-3 vehicles along with the ALO.

The XO in your case would be bumper number HQ-55, The CO is HQ 66 the S-3 is HQ 33 etc etc

When I was in the 11th ACR, the bumper numbers for the scout platoons were: X1 plt ldr, X4 plt sgt, X2 & X3 were wingmen (we called this the first section), X5 & X6 were wingmen (and this was called the second section).

The squadron commander and the S-3 (Operations Officer) each had an assigned Bradley, HQ-66 & HQ-33, respectively.

When I was in 4-7 CAV (96-97) (not ACR but should be similar) we had 6 scout bradleys in 1st plt, and 3rd plt, and 4 M1A1s in 2nd and 4th. The CO had a tank, and XO a bradley. These were the M3A2 versions. The sections was split like this if memory serves me right.

Bravo Troop Bulldog

M3A2 1st plt Red

11 (Bulldog 11 company or battalion net (red 1 internal company or platoon net) and 13

14 and 15

12(senior scout) and 16

M3A2 3rd plt Blue

31 blue 1 & 33

34 & 35

32(senior scout) & 36

M1A1HA 2nd plt White

21 white 1 & 22

24 & 23

M1A1HA 4th plt Green

41 green 1 & 42

44 & 43

M1A1HA
