  1. Today
  2. Actually, this always was bug #2470. And #6991, #8481, #9586.
  3. I presume we need to rename the existing one "signs_traffic_01_old" old or similar? Or is this a replacement for your earlier file?
  4. T-90A does similar thing. The ATGMs it has are unlimited.
  5. On the main menu "Options" then "File Paths" will show you where your map packages are stored.
  6. I have SB Pro 4.379 and just downloaded the Camp Hornfelt files from the Wiki. I see the scenarios when I begin an offline session, but I don't understand where to put the maps in the Blauheim folder. The readme says to put the Blauheim folder into the "terrain" folder in "map/packages", but I don't see that file path.

  8. FYI if you script the AI with a "Defend" tactic, and set the LOS bubble correctly (i.e. clear where you want to shoot at), you'll find the AI usually (it has some issues with some terrain) does a petty good job of driving to the position and then backing up until the vehicle is hull down. It works even better if you give it a "Retreat if ..." order with a "if under direct fire" criteria - so it knows where you want it to go (just like in a Crew Brief). If you are just "driving around" then you are simply adding to your burdens as a "one man band".
  9. It's just my personal experience with using the CITV, so take it with a grain of salt. In other games, after my gunner starts engaging the target, I will let my him do his job and focusing instead on scanning for other threats such as flanking infantries and other AFVs, on telling my driver when to back up and where to go next, and on listening to the radio. The reason for this is simple, situation awareness is far more important than helping my gunner sensing rounds, and my gunner will tell me whether it's a hit or a miss to begin with. Playing single player in SB, however, I chose to baby sit my AI crews during an engagement with my CITV, telling them exactly what to do. There are at least four reasons. First, the AI gunner gives no feedback, so I won't know how he is doing at all. Secondly, the AIs tell me nothing about incoming ATGMs or a 125mm smoothbore aiming at directly us, so good luck knowing when to pop smokes and back up (with that said, you should, regardless of seeing threats or not, always back up behind your cover for every 1 to 2 shots fired and change to position). The next two reasons are the most annoying parts to me. One, AI will start to frantically dump everything down the range without even announcing "on the way", if it can't kill the target in about three shots. If you don't stop it, a LOT of ammo will be wasted. The last one is your AI driver is not good at hiding your upper hall at all, so by assessing the terrain in front the turret, you will know when it's necessary to tell the driver to back up.
  10. That T-72 probably looked like this T-54
  11. An Israeli documentary film, in color, about Operation Focus, the opening airstrike at the start of the 1967 Six Day War (English subtitles are available): https://jfc.org.il/en/news_journal/45194-2/ The film is mostly about the IAF, but destroyed, deserted Egyptian vehicles are shown from 1:07:03 to 1:09:26, including T-54/55s, T-34/85s, BTR-152s, SU-100s. An IDF M48A2C is seen on 1:07:07 and a Centurion on 1:09:08.
  12. I would highly suggest you make a pick in the main body as well for the combat after the recon is done, though its totally up to you.

These traffic & info signs are mainly used in Germany but also in some other countries. Usable in woodland, winter and autumn; put it in your texture folder! You can find/use these signs in the map editor under Object / Info Signs & Traffic Signs.
  14. The usual criteria is to demonstrate to eSim that you have an ongoing interest / commitment to publicise Steel Beasts Pro PE, usually through regular (once every 6 months doesn't cut it) multi-player events. While you are building that following, happy to provide the support as mentioned elsewhere.
  15. Perfect, thank you guys for helping with access to a server license, I’ll be working on seeing if I can get my own nipped for the future.
  16. For a more historic feel: "Tank Action" by David Render and "By Tank into Normandy" by Stuart Hills
  17. Niall Edworthy's 'Main Battle Tank'. Punchy account of the Royal Scot Dragoon Guards Battlegroup in Basra in 2003. Surprisingly good, lot of stuff in here that I wasnt aware of. Dusty Warriors, a book about the PWRR in Al Amarah and Basra in 2004 is also well worth a read, written as it was by one of Britains premier military historians.
  18. I'm gonna say I'll attend in a T72, though I may have to come back and cancel if my schedule changes.
  19. D1-1 assuming 2A4‘s equals Leopard 2A4‘s. Can‘t make the recon event.
  20. Never saw a T-72 wreck that had its engine shout out from it. Wouldn't know what to make from that description, as much as it may set your imagination on fire.
