  11. Modern Iranian Infantry Uniforms

    Modern Iranian Infantry Uniforms.

This modification adds two custom skins (desert & woodland) based off of modern Islamic Republic of Iran Army Ground Forces (Artesh) uniforms.

    Installation
Unzip the Camo folder into the following location:
    C:\Users\NAME\Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures

    Description / Reference / Sources
The Iranian military seems to be inconsistent with their uniforms/camouflage patterns. It seems that every unit has their own camouflage pattern, to include the IRGC (not to be confused with IRIAGF).
In most photos, the IRIAGF seems to be using a variation of US Marine Corps Desert MARPAT, and a different version using dark brown and green in a digital pattern.

I think these guys are IRGC though.

  12. US 1970s Autumn Camo

This is a simple modification of the stock eSim texture for US 1970 infantry. The only change is to substitute the helmet cover.
The sim's default green "leaf" pattern helmet cover became an icon symbolic of the Vietnam war. It was reversible, however, to this pattern, which was intended for arid, fall or winter (non snow) environments. (The U.S. Army, at the time, did not have an issue combat uniform specifically for such terrain). The camo patterns, collectively, have come to be called the "Mitchell" pattern.

  13. US 1980s Desert BDU

The Desert Battle Dress Uniform (DBDU) for SBProPE's "US 1980" infantry model introduced in version 4.1.

From Wikipedia: "The six-color desert pattern entered service in 1981 at the same time as the woodland BDUs and would be worn in limited numbers by U.S. troops taking part in the biennial Bright Star exercises in Egypt during the 1980s, and by FORSCOM peacekeepers assigned to the Multinational Force and Observers in the Egyptian Sinai Desert, but was not issued in large numbers prior to the Persian Gulf War."

That doesn't mean you can't use it in "what if" scenarios. 👍

  16. US Army DCU 2000

The Desert Camouflage Pattern was used by the U.S. military well into the 2000's, having replaced the six-color "chocolate-chip" camo in the early 1990s.
Based on the appearance of the U.S. Army during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, this skin features the DCU's three-color camouflage pattern plus Interceptor body armor in the M81 woodland pattern.
This skin was created with deja wolf's template and is for the US 2000 troop model (interceptordress). Also still available below is the original skin for when the mission designer has chosen US 1990 as the camo.

  21. US Army OCP Infantry and Crewman

This package includes updated infantryman and AFV crewman skins in the U.S. Army's current multicam: Operational Camouflage Pattern.
Updates from my previous version include a new interpretation of the Scorpion camouflage pattern, and new issue Coyote Brown combat boots. The installation path also differs from previous versions.
For the infantryman, body armor is painted to suggest an IOTV (Improved Outer Tactical Vest.)
An optional included face2 file cleans the camo paint from your soldier's face and gives him the appearance of wearing protective eyewear.

  25. DBDU (Choc Chip Camo Pattern)

Choc Chip Camo for Steel Beasts v4+ by stormrider_sp

    Description:
The Desert Battle Dress Uniform (DBDU) is a U.S. arid-environment camouflage battle uniform that was used by the United States Armed Forces from the early 1980s to the early to mid 1990s, most notably during the Persian Gulf War. Although the U.S. military has long since abandoned the pattern, it is still in widespread use by militaries across the world as of the early 2010s.

Although the chocolate-chip camouflage became well known during the Persian Gulf War, it was originally designed decades prior, in 1962. The U.S. Army, believing that it might one day become necessary to intervene in the Arab–Israeli conflicts, developed a test pattern using the deserts of southwestern United States as a model. When the hostilities in the Middle East wound down, the test pattern was mothballed. The formation of the U.S. Rapid Deployment Force (RDF) in 1979, with its remit to operate in the Middle East, and protect U.S. interests in the Persian Gulf region, saw the need for desert camouflage clothing to emerge again.
