Flank Support Intercept

You are in a company of LAVs, deployed in Flank Support of a Bradley attack on an enemy town. The enemy has reinforcements (BMPs, BRDMs, troops) staging in a nearby town and your job is to setup an ambush to destroy the reinforcements, then move in to take the town.

Abstract Operations Order Tactical Group .

The invasion of Iraq , between March 20 and May 1, 2003 , was conducted by a coalition of countries led by the United States. Other countries were involved in the occupation phase later. The invasion marked the beginning of the Iraq War .

According to the President of the United States, George W. Bush , the reasons for the invasion were " to disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction ( WMD) - This will be our task in this case .

1) LOCATION :

a) Enemy:

The Republican Guard protects two industrial centers in the
vicinity of the town of Baiji , we know that are entrenched and maintain patrols in the area , several T-72s and BMPs. The city located more to the NE is supposed controlled Iraqi army , we take special care to protect our flank when we advance .

2 ) MISSION
- Alpha and Bravo to approach as much as possible to carry out a surprise attack on the two industrial centers , so that the Iraqis do not have time to hide evidence , desacerse or transfer any chemical weapon .
- We must prevent any vehicle exhaust from industrial centers .
'Once he took the two industrial centers proceed to advance on the city keeping controlled the main streets and securing the area .

3 ) EXECUTION :

a) Crossing the desert covering our position as long as possible .
B ) Attacking unison and TANGO GOLF positions , eliminating all enemy resistance .
c ) At all costs avoid the destruction of evidence or removal from the place by any means.
d ) have two triggers to launch smoke before the attack.

Platoon tactical movement exercise (2.654)

A platoon of 4 x M1A1s conducts a reconnaissance-in-force to penetrate REDFOR's security zone and locate the main defensive zone. Inspired by GaryOwen's "Camp Hornfelt" scenario pack, I created this mission as the first in a (hopefully) series of COOP training exercises to practice section and platoon formation movement, bounding overwatch, and battle drills. Ideally played with up to eight players (two per tank), but can be played by a single player who is up for a challenge. <br /> <br /> REDFOR is heavily randomized to enhance replayability. BLUEFOR's reconnaissance zone is potentially 15 km deep. Thus, depending on where REDFOR spawns (and on the bold or cautious nature of BLUEFOR's movement), mission duration may be well in excess of 90 minutes. Or less than 30. <br /> <br /> This is an alpha version of the mission. PLEASE leave feedback if you like it -- or hate it -- or if it does not work for some reason! ----------------------------------- v.0.59 > disabled undocumented "Cross LD" trigger.
