This mod is intended as a stand in for the Bundeswer Leopard 1A3 and represents the “Gelb-olive” one color unit, prior to 3-color camouflage. A winter camouflage unit is also included. A special thanks to Nachflke for the pictures of the Leopard 1A3 he crewed. There were only 110 Leopard 1A3’s built.
This version of the Leopard 1A3 hails from the 10th Panzer division circa 1978. Most of the original skin has been detailed. Some of the original hardware has been detailed and replaced such as hinges, nuts, bolts, grates, handles and caps. The wheels have been rebuilt to include all new nuts and hubs.
