About This File

The Red tide 1988.

The war to hold back the Soviets is failing, the German forces have been forced to fall back as their flank has collapsed, the BAOR still stands strong, and we the US forces are on the retreat now.

We have to try and hold back the soviet forces for there to be a civillian evac from the city of Archen, trucks still haven't evacuated everyone, they need an hour, so we must try and hold back the enemy force as there is no-one between us and the city.

We have a simple mission, hold the enemy back for an hour.

Found this scenario entertaining and fun. The time to complete the mission  is suitable to quick singelplayer event.

As for the opposition: Think it is suitable for the mission, maybe a bit more focus on artillery assets on the red side.

@Felix: My opinion;  In singleplayer mission you have to play by the "rules" of the mission-maker,

By acting in an unrelistic or overclever way like pushing hard and fast on the edge of the map can ruin a good scenario real fast.

Tankriver, Really enjoying your choices of terrain maps and enemy forces for all your scenarios!
Haven't found any bugs yet in this one. But played aggressive the first couple of times through and found I could stuff the Russian advance fairly easily, with low casualties.  As a non builder of scenarios(yet), I was wondering if a randomization of the Russian forces could be applied. To make this scenario more re-playable and a bit harder? I don't want to talk specifics here and ruin the fun and surprises for the rest. But I have some suggestions to make it a tad harder. Not an expert, just opionion.

Cheers and keep up the good works!
