  1. Thanks a lot! Yes Janes book seems to be very expansive : ) I will try to find whether it is available in some library. I am currently really interested in Leopard 2 and M3A3 as I am working on the full iterior model of them. During the search and with the help from other people, I have come across Osprey published New Vanguard series, which have some breif overview for both of them. Do you have any other suggestions for other related sources? Unclassified ones of course : ) Thanks a lot!
  2. Hi guys! May I ask is there any good source (website, books, etc) for annotated cutaway figure /blueprint for modern NATO tank/self-propoelled artillery? (I also recently start building models with full interior and I am really interested to learn the function of each module) Thanks a lot!
  3. Thank you @Captain_Colossus ! I totally agree with you that nowdays ground war becomes small infantry units with drones who infiltrate and guide the aritillery to perform precise strike. I am actually also a supporter of this new type of ground warfare. And I think this will be much more deadly with drones that can guide laser-guided shells. But I think @Ssnake mentioned that we should avoid Russian/Ukraine war topics, therefore I will not go deeper into that : )
  4. Thank you so much for your reply! @Ssnake @Assassin 7 Yes I totally agree that this scenario is very artifical (and hilarious : ) ) I also think @Ssnake makes a great point on column vs line formation and @Assassin 7 on fire and movement. Though I am still curious about the following points: (1) When both parties select to form line formation, will it be benefitial to increase the spacing beteween tanks in order to flank the enemy? Or in a four tank platoon, should we just order a tank to leave the formation and try to flank the enemy? (2) Suppose both parties have same effective range of firing (suppose 2km). When they enter such range, should they (1) continue to close in, (2) stop to fire, (3) move backwards, (4) perform some random left/right movement? I think there is some interesting trade off here: such as (2) should increase your accruacy but will also make you a easy target. And (4) will make you hard to be hit but will potentially expose your weaker armor. I have skimmed through ATP 3-20.15 but cannot find relavant information on this topics, which makes me really curious : ) Thanks!
  5. Hi folks! New player here. May I ask what will be the correct manuever/enagement stratergy in head-on tank vs tank scenario? Suppose on flat landscade and both parties are 3-tank platoon (all M1A2). Should all tanks just form line formation and charge towards enemy or move backwards? Thanks!
