Yes it is, BUT.. it is designed so that you WISH to get just a bit of this, and that new cool cammo, and maybe 1 more tank slot, and to add this emblem .. and when you look behind you have spent 50€ in no time. BTW, im Working for Wargaming.net, so yeah... WoT cant compare to SB in any way, except that there are few tanks that are common for both games. About forum community and players I wont even start talking. If i would have to choose would i spend my time&money on SB or WoT, it is Sim vs COD arcade type. I would grab Sim always.
  2. Maybe it was just a higher FPS? I have quite good PC and im running this sim on max. details, but from time to time FPS can go down. If you have an aged rig, this could be the reason. Just my 2 cents.
  3. With civilian groups incoming with this patch, you could make new sprites, or 3d models mod and change "skin" of one of civilian "uniforms" and make animals of them with their own AI... Just a wild thinking :biggrin:

Maybe within editor there could be option to just "paint" 1/A, 2/A and so on, directly on the vehicles, if not for all countries then at least for USA & Ussr - as two main representatives of blue and red forces. If unit is marked in editor as first platoon , first company - game itself would apply correct name on vehicles of that platoon, over the already painted camo, that is defined by theme of the map. Just like , for example you can have thousands of same cars, only with different reg. plate. I know this is much easier to implement when you start from 0 but , i hope there is sme way and room for improvement. DONT GET ME wrong, im not crying that this skins are bad - im just sying that it would be nice to be able to visually confirm that some platoon is there or there, in case of radio comms down , for example, by simply looking at their markings.
  6. I saw some other sims ( names are not important here, and i hate hijacking forums to talk about other games) where each vehicle could have different numbers. Im aware that each country have its own system of markings and numbering - but if SB supports around 15 different uniforms and infantry outfits, then i guess it is possible to implement some kind of small skins that will be ok for each country , vehicle and platoon. If not exactly each vehicle then at least each platoon.
  7. Thank you for details - so it is a stiff thing eh? Good - atm im having HUGE issues with my own stick - simply i cant figure out how to set it right so that i can aim accurately, as i used to be quite good on my old stick, but now i cant hit a barn on 1000m if i move, it is that bad.. So if that thing is stiff - the i have very realistic set on my own table :biggrin:. Note to eSim guys: Im hoping we will see some kind of axis response curves and joystick fine tuning in one of incoming upgrades, without it i will have either to get new stick or to switch to mouse aiming. Make upgrade price 100$ if you have to, I will pay, just implement those settings :diable:

I could live with all above mentioned (gun shooting or hit flashes, fires, etc.. can stay as bit maps)if only smoke from wrecks is " a bit" more denser and higher, and 3D of course - most of us knows how dense and thick is smoke from burning rubber is. That kind of smoke would help with 1 more thing drastically -determining wind speed& direction and where to drop smoke screen for example. Or making combat in area where are already some burning wrecks a big issue - even for vehicles with thermal sight devices.

  10. Hehehe, true, im starting to feel like little kid watching his mom making some big cake, that requires few stages to be complete - if you know what i mean.. But at the end this is going to be (imho) big improvement as much as SB pro PE was over first SB ( at least from the eye cendy point of view)
  11. Im feeling cold hand of ban hammer is gripping my throat for going off topic, but yes, it is basically extension of same R.U.S.E. franchise - and it is strategy/tactical game. SB on the other hand is pure live experience from inside of the same vehicles used in that game.
  12. Same here - I went for T-80 as well. But if I had multiple choices M1A2 would be my 2nd choice.
  13. Or at least ability to make foliage and bush cammo visible like this on vehicles - if, lets say , that option is enabled in mission editor. It would help with higher realism and with creating some really good ambush scenarios
  14. Model is Thrustmaster T. Flights - HOTAS It is pure PnP USB stick , and i dont have any kind of support or tweaking program, that is why im heavily dependent on support within game(s) 99% of sims are good, and it is not required to be so precise - in SB it is different story tho. Im sorry for going into OT. Related to topic: i HOPE within those new platforms we will have few of USSR T-xx series as controllable & with proper tutorials. Also - BMPx! Also, it is not all in vehicles - big, various, apartment buildings and city structures as objects with more details and so on would help to create excellent urban fights ( did any1 mentioned Syria fight)
  15. I didnt wanted to ask because I was sure that development will be frozen within days, and bug hunt will start. But now, when we have 1 additional month to wait, I will dare to ask: Is there any chance that you will implement more detailed and flexible joystick configuration. Namely response curves and dead zones ( for example like in most flight simulations, IL-2, or DCS series) for each axis. Since I changed to new joystick im having a lot of issues handling gunner Y axis (much more sensitive then X) or tracking slow targets etc.. To the point where I had to swap back to mouse control. This would really save the day.

  17. Dust, rain, snow, mud and other things on my optics from nearby explosions or atmospherics obscuring my view from time to time or constantly..

  20. If we talk about new vehicles, M1A2 is all i expect - with as much new systems ( CITV included or, by some miracle, IVIS) Anything beyond - is pure bonus. If I can daydream i would ask for T-80 as well (with proper documentation and tutorial) :drink: As for the other type of improvements - map should be in high res with better contours. Gfx improvements are atm last what i want - it is already functional and has decent look , even for 2013.
  21. Thank you for fast reply! I scanned those threads already - I was hoping for some more news, and above all - price of update ( rumors are 25$). I guess as date of release is closer and closer more news will start to appear, so all we need to do is to be patient for just a while.
  22. Well April is here - 1/3 of it is behind us now already. Any news on update - im happy owner of Sb Pro Pe for long time, and i was playing this series since first SB - I remember how i was happy with HUGE gfx improvement when i tried SB pro PE after original game. :debile2: Can any of devs ( moderators...etc) share a bit more light on what can we expect in new update - maybe some screen shot, some video etc..? Or we are still too far away from any confirmed deadline and there are noinfo around yet?
