  1. Ah found new scenarios under hard difficulty section. Not many but I guess they will have to do.
  2. Thanks but when I sorted for start date (whatever that means) and latest updates they all refer to the latest Sept 2016.
  3. I'm looking for single player scenarios that take advantage of the new tanks in 4.0 (4.019) but can't find any. It seems that it has been a while that SP scenarios are created and shared (uploaded). I don't play MP as I don't fit in with the MP community at large. Does anyone know where to find scenarios for 4.0 besides creating them ourselves? Thanks!
  4. I'm a Christian too you know and celebrate Christmas even though I live in a Muslim majority country.
  5. But ships and submarines take much longer to replace than tanks. Some of the bigger ships and nuclear submarines can even be considered as strategic assets. Tanks are probably way even more vulnerable. The proliferation of anti-tank weapons these days.....Even militants such as Hezbollah are equipped with first-rate anti-tank weapons. Only active anti-tank systems have a chance now to really protect a tank. These aren't widely deployed in Europe or at all.... The UK isn't concerned with defending its homeland while the defense of the European continent can be done these days with less tanks. Tanks are primarily a ground assault platform. In the event of Russian invasion of Europe, defense can be done via less tanks, more anti-tank missiles, gunships, and air superiority. You don't need tank to destroy another tank these days. Plus, to fight enemy infantry lower caliber AFV may be much more effective than a tank would be (20 mm works wonder against infantry than slow loading 120 mm tank gun or small caliber machine guns)
  6. It's no big deal in my opinion. Tanks can always be produced relatively quick. What the Britain needs are more submarines and ships. Tomorrow's war is likely to require sizeable fleet. Russia IS NOT as much as a threat to European peace than it is portrayed to be in the media, in my opinion. It is in for a long decline. It has no way to match NATO. What is concerning is the combined forces of China and Russia.
  7. Well, their previous titles were made for mobile phones but Cold Waters will be made specifically to take advantage of PC and Mac power i.e., it will be a proper PC game instead of just a mobile game ported to PC.
  8. I hope so too perhaps in a DLC/expansion. I also hope the sequel won't limit us to playable submarines but also ships....
  9. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=770691721 Looks awesome!!!
  10. Hehehe thanks for the link and interesting reply. Sorry for the late reply. Hadn't been checking on the forums. Cheers!
  11. Can anyone who has pushed a real Aventador or the SV version comment on the following assessment?! Or can anyone point me to an owner frank impression of the SV version. Almost all video reviews of the SV are quite subjective in my opinion. Thank you Assetto Corsa is an incredible racing and driving simulation. To drive the point I'm going to write this short review on one of the cars. If you have driven a Lamborghini Aventador or its SV version and pushed it on a track you will probably find the assessment quite spot on. Lamborghini since its acquisition by Audi has been churning out better cars than before. Most notably from the barren period during its ownership by an Indonesian conglomerate. The Huracan GT3 and Super Trofeo have been making names for themselves in the motorsport world. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of the awkward and obscenely expensive Veneno and the affordable Aventador and Aventador SV hypercars. The Aventador suffers from a slight understeer (which is to say it handles somewhat like a fast minivan) and relatively weak brakes. For most drivers, however, the Aventador and Aventador SV provide a relatively affordable opportunity to own a modern hypercar. The danger lies when those drivers push their Aventador (SV)'s on a track. You see, the Aventador SV is just good enough to be pushed on a track but if pushed just outside its envelope it could prove dangerous for its driver. The car gives you just enough confidence to push it hard enough on a track that's likely to fool you into thinking that it is capable of being pushed further and if you do, the car will simply fail you in some critical corner. A professional driver might find the Aventador a car that hampered their lap times although the average drivers would probably find these cars 'fun' and fast. That being said, the Aventador SV is still a good-looking hypercar and with a price tag of 'just' shy of 500,000 USD, is way cheaper than its counterparts. A McLaren P1, for example, would set one back 1.15 million USD (assuming you can still buy one). On a side note, yes, the Aventador SV did manage a terrific lap time on the Nurburgring but I think you have to give most of the credit to its driver. Given a McLaren P1, just for an example, that driver would probably manage an even better lap time. Having said all that, if I had 20 million I would probably set aside 500,000 for an Aventador SV simply because it's the very definition of a bedroom poster dream car and considering its counterparts, a definite bargain! Sure, it may lack proper racing refinement for a hypercar but you can't beat that price tag and it will only increase in value with time. A hypercar will not get any cheaper than this. Part of that fun is, of course, crushing all less powerful and ubiquitous supercars on the track or in drag races (think Ferrari 458, Ferrari 488 GTB, Lamborghini Huracan, Gallardo, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Porsches, etc). That is as long as you take neither yourself nor the car too seriously on any given track. As long as you do that, this car won't probably kill you. However, how long can you keep a level head with that 740 HP V12 engine purring and roaring behind you?! It's a dangerous car to let yourself be carried away with.
  12. It's almost certain that WW3 will break out between 2016-2030 if not between 2016-2021. None of our plans will matter. Just in case I'm wrong, please resurrect this thread on January 1st 2031. More likely the whole server dan its data will be wiped out as will we. It was nice posting on the forum.
  13. Then I played pirated PC games since there was no means to get it legit then, nowhere available in the country M1 Abrams <bought Pirated CD> Steel Beasts <bought Pirated CD> T-72 Balkans <bought Pirated CD> Steel Fury <bought Pirated CD> T-34 Vs Tiger <bought Pirated CD> Steel Beasts Pro PE <legit> War Thunder <free to play> Steel Armor: Blaze of War <legit>
  14. I must say that having BOUGHT ALL of my games ON STEAM with the exception of SB Pro PE...downloading a patch is something I have never done in the past couple years. It feels weird LOL. Thank you for the patch!!
  15. Yeah, I know it's on discount on steam at the moment. But I'm eyeing Endless Space 2 rather than trying the first
  16. I'm holding out from buying Endless legend because I prefer Endless Space 2. I have Civilization V which theme I prefer than Legend's. I'm sure it's a great game but have to have Endless Space 2 first hehe.
  17. Thanks not too good with lap times . Only familiar with Nexus on that list. It's a brilliant game but it's strictly linear. Been checking out 'Endless Space 2' and very tempted to buy it if not soon then nearer to Christmas. It seems like a brilliant space strategy game.
  18. Congrats! Specs look sweet! You can always upgrade the 1060 but it should do fine for general gaming imo.
  19. I have a hobby of analyzing geopolitics and this is my latest 'Geopolitics A-B-C' post on Linked In (just posted yesterday): Geopolitics A-B-C My previous entry (30 days old) wrote about the expected increase in the game of brinkmanship played by Russia and expectedly soon joined by China. What Russia is doing now, all these threats of war and nuclear war are an attempt by a frightened Putin to intimidate the U.S. into doing exactly nothing as to avoid increasing the already high tension and risking an all-out war with Russia. Against the background of a sluggish economy, China should be expected to follow suit with its own brinkmanship game. Brinkmanship is a dangerous game because sooner or later you have to up the game often past the point of tolerance to your enemy and sometimes your enemy may call your bluff and you have a real war instead. It's very effective to galvanize support at home. With Duterte defusing contention over the South China Sea with his overture to China, China may use the issue of Taiwan as a backdrop of its forthcoming brinkmanship game of its own. The prerequisite for China's own brinkmanship game is a dire state of its economy. Then I found this article: http://www.businessinsider.com/serious-people-are-starting-to-realize-that-we-may-be-looking-at-world-war-iii-2011-8?IR=T&r=US&IR=T That man's insight is NOT an exaggeration in my opinion. It's time to forgive everyone, repent, and pray for world peace. I know no one will heed that call and our broken humanity is going to spark WWIII sooner than we might have expected. It's a scary time we are living in now. The only reason WWIII is possible is because no one but the U.S. had nuclear weapons. Should WWIII happen it's the end of civilization as we know it....or the end of humanity.
  20. Planning to get rFactor 2 this coming Halloween Steam Sale (Oct 30th). Planning to preorder Xenoverse 2 too with the money already set aside. I know if I refrain from buying some games I can buy a wheel with the money but still I prefer those games.
  21. Thank you. I knew that. Out of job at the moment. Just been offered a job but declined the offer. Doing some freelancing (academic consultation) but it has dried up with no new client. So I have to save money. A wheel would set me back 500 USD here. I'd rather buy a smart TV for that kind of money and only then would consider buying a wheel. I just love motorsport it's either not playing at all or with a keyboard at the moment (I have a pad but prefer the keyboard still). It's okayish with a keyboard. Would be perfect with a wheel but I can wait.
