  1. Leo 2A6 has a more powerful gun too if I'm not mistaken. But the true value of these new tank additions would be playing them in scenarios. I'm sure scenarios will be made for them. For the first time, SB Pro PE can now simulate manual gunnery tank battle with the Sho't Kals, T-55As and, T-62s. Would be very interesting to play them both in single player and multiplayer.
  2. I thought so too. It's alright but the 72B1 m.2012 has those ERA blocks which would be handy in instant battle. Not sure if m.1984 has ERA blocks. Thank you for the clarification! Much appreciated!
  3. Thank you. I read the release notes soon after. My mistake. However, T72B m.2012, Leo 2A6 DE are listed as playables but I cannot find them in instant action or tank range?! Tried the T-62 yesterday and now I know why the Arabs lost the war in 1967 and 1973. Without laser range finder it's a pain to see where shells impact and adjust the aim accordingly. The T-55 has a higher hitting probability because you still can see where shells land.
  4. Russo Turk battle T72M1 also has the same issue. I thought I was missing a terrain/height file... Can't find my log either. Windows 10. I'm guessing that the T72M1 model got updated and now the old model is registered as missing replaced by a new one probably with a new name?!
  5. Neither the T-55AM nor the T55AM2 is playable in Gun Range and Instant Action modes. Am I missing something?!
  6. It's the 'N' key. Without zooming in it's a pain to read the optics.
  7. I couldn't believe I couldn't find a crewed T-55 video. Here's a raw video of it at the gun range. Now, we need some old school gunnery tank warfare. Shot Kals, T-55s, and T-62s...
  8. Didn't know that. Thanks!! That would explain the awesome interior compared to Leo 2A5. We can really have some cool scenarios now with the Shot'Kal and T-55/T-62 where human gunnery is all that matters.
  9. Just tried the T-55 for the first time in gun range. She's one beautiful tank. I didn't realize I could zoom in the optics so I fired away at zoomed out magnification but still managed a score of 52!!! Will search for missions for the tank!!!
  10. Finally, I caved in and upgraded from 2.6 to 4.0. However, it seems I cannot select some of the new tanks in instant battle such as Leo 2A6 or the M60. The version is indeed 4.0. Am I missing something or are they not included for instant battle? Thank you. UPDATE: Just after posting this I loaded the game again and the tanks are there in tank range buy not in instant action. Still missing T72 m.2012 and Leo 2A6. Leo 2E is there though. Very nice update. Happy to see SB Pro PE to have kept up with time. Graphics aren't very important to me when it comes to sim as I put more value in gameplay but I don't mind the eye candy
  11. I downloaded a lot of single player scenarios, twice over a period (since the original files were lost twice when I switched PCs), but have since lost the files and I'm just too lazy to re-download them again. Can someone kind enough and obsessive enough to have downloaded all those good single player scenarios (version 4.0 is included if any is ok) upload it somewhere for me to download in one go and dump the files into 'My Scenarios' folder?! Thank you so much if you're able to. I just need your whole downloaded single-player scenarios put in a folder and downloaded as 1 file.
  12. Thanks. That will be helpful but I wished there was an inbuilt lobby to meet and select missions still. ArmA 3 is great because of it. Still not an easy infantry simulator but it makes playing with others so much easier. It helps match you to the right servers any time of the day.
  13. The thing is I live in Jakarta, Indonesia, so the timing to join online games with you guys will be slim. I tried playing Dangerous Waters online which is also a difficult game to play online. It was with Italian group (mainly Italian) and I had to wake up at odd hours LOL. I quit after a few sessions. It was a lot of fun but the hours LOL. I have SB Pro PE 2.654. Will upgrade to 4 before year's end.
  14. I mean the lobby is for all. I'm saying Esim should let people play couple vehicles for absolutely no cost. I got into "Rise of Flight' just because of this strategy. Without the opportunity to try some aircraft for free, I wouldn't have bought anything from them. Yes but that's a second party software. I mean lobby from the game menu. Just my 2 cents anyway. I thought Esim would benefit from more exposure and a friendlier way to meet up and setup online games. Such a shame WoT got so popular with its mindless matches that don't make much sense...
  15. There's a lobby now? last I checked there wasn't. The server only needs to host the lobby for people to show up, select, join and start a battle. The sessions themselves should be run on a chosen host's PC. Shouldn't be too expensive. I was thinking to let T-55, Leopard 1, and M60 be freely available to be played without any license whatsoever. This might entice would-be buyers to try out the game and eventually buy it. They can play offline and online but with the limited selection of tanks and IFVs.
  16. Well, there's just a small community of players that play SB Pro PE online. Sure, team coordination and communication are great to have in games such as SB Pro PE but without more user friendly online experience that includes a lobby, online is going to be pretty restricted and small. I personally do not mind as I play mostly single player anyway for games like SB Pro PE but to attract more players, changes to how online game is setup may need to be done. If people blew hundreds of dollars for pathetically rudimentary game as World of Tanks many of them would invest in SB Pro PE once they know they can get a reliable and easy online experience. There's always the option to go full voice communication and coordination like usual. It would be great if all online sessions are to be done this way but that's not going to attract more players seeking instant game gratification like a 30 min battle with minimum care. Due to the small pool of players playing online, SB Pro PE doesn't really offer the benefit of online gaming to the majority of those wanting a more simulation approach to tank warfare. Unless the process is made easier. Anyway just my 2 cents. I personally play the game for its single player experience.
  17. Considering that that arcade World of Tanks is doing great with people at least spending hundreds of dollars, there are probably quite a few of those players would try a more simulator approach to tank gaming. This being said, at the present to enjoy SB Pro PE online there seems to be a requirement of being able to enter a close-knit community of veterans and the number of players playing the game online is pretty restricted. But if the game were to be made more online friendly, with online lobby I and more preset/default co-op and PvP scenarios there might be a real chance to attract some of those WoT players into buying SB Pro PE. I know the majority of people may prefer arcade gaming but War Thunder is successful in implementing more realistic ballistic approach to tank protection. If online is made more user friendly I'm sure more people will flock to this game. I just wished more people would play this game. It's really niche at the moment. Even more niche than say 'Rise of Flight' back then when it was not on Steam platform. I'll get 4.0 before the end of the year or I may cave in and buy this weekend
  18. I was just saying I wasn't making an issue of that. Merely stating that there was that joke back then in 2007. I'm just happy SB Pro PE gets updated. You're thinking too much and I seem to get the impression that Ssnake was getting defensive for no reason. Please lighten up everyone.
  19. Ah right sorry for badly worded sentence. He indeed didn't state directly that it wasn't going to happen. I do remember Ssnake saying it wasn't priority. But for all intent and purposes it also meant that it wasn't going to happen in the foreseeable future. True enough, we only got it 9 years later. It was made a forum joke because people wanted it and we were not going to get it [for a foreseeable future]. That's a lot of explanation for nothing Ssnake. You do NOT need to explain anything. There's no need to defend anything. It's nothing.
  20. Thank you Furia. I'm pre-ordering another game soon Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 which will cost 100 bucks (I know it's ridiculous). I think I will defer buying, maybe. If I cave in I may buy 4.0 earlier. If not, closer to Christmas.
  21. Does anyone remember the joke of 'bouncy wheels' when the game was young. Ssnake told us it wouldn't happen or something of that sort...LOL. Long way back then many people wanted fully animated suspension but of course it was not going to happen. Now, 9 years later we got it LOL!
  22. Thank you! How bad is the fps when it dips badly? anything above 30 fps is acceptable to me too for SB Pro PE but less would start to annoy me.
