  3. Wow! Those are sharp textures you've got there? Which mods do you use for the vehicles? Am I wrong, or are those modded grass textures as well? :smilelove-1:

  5. Will there also be a way to 'update' a saved 1.0 plan to the current version then? It would still pose a problem for saved plans after every upgrade of the sim.
  6. Thanks Koen! Geen probleem, I've found some nice ones back. But the online database on this website seems to have cleaned up quite a bit, hasn't it? Seems like there are a lot less mods available.

  8. Thanks for the link. I tried to search, but couldn't come up with anything. As its 'up in the air' wether there was a fix in the end or not regarding the thread I suppose it's still an unsolved issue. Good to know it's a known one at least. Do only the Hinds in that particular mission suffer from the anomaly then? Also, off topic, if I leave the 'Red' mod texture folders empty, will the red forces use the texture from the mod folder for blue (e.g. the normal seasons mod folder) instead? :thumbup:
  9. I am sorry that its hard to see, but the picture gets compressed too much. In right part of the picture, just above the horizon you will spot a Hind. There's a strange 'thing' floating in front of it. Outside the canopy and just in front and under the rotorblades. Hopefully you have seen it before and know what I am talking about. It's clearly not meant to be there and as far as I know I have a clean install of SB Pro PE. Is this a known thing, can it be fixed? Thanks!
  10. :debile2: I have been under the radar for quite some time and despite we are finishing up the last loose ends for our wedding day I am slowly having more time again for SB! We will get married on the 7th and I expect to have much more time to get back into SB from then onwards (no, not contrary as some might think because I am getting married! :sonic:). Good to see everything here on the forums is still in working order! I would love to finally start participating in multiplayer with you guys, so I am hoping I can kick that off as well soon. Because of a new install I have lost all my mods, unfortunately.... Is there perhaps a list of which mods are still compatible with the current version. Or otherwise perhaps a list with the best mods or so? Or will I just have to re-browse the library and try and see what I like instead? Greetings from Holland!

    Yes still, cause the previous update added improved models for some vehicles. :biggrin:
  12. Well I am on a 'measly' Q9400 quad core and a GTX285 and I still think my system is smoking hot.

    Yes exactly. Just putting in the version it was made for (or tested to work with) would work just fine.

    Well... no. The best way would be for the authors to define wether the mod works with the new version. An easier solution might be to add some comments to repository. Or create a new section in there and move all the working stuff over there. Or.. just delete all the old mods which are obsolete. Your car need maintenance once in a while too doesn't it? :biggrin:

    Sure, but some models are new, others haven't been updated. Because of the mish mash of different models and versions it can become rather confusing for people returning after a while or new people looking for mods to spice up their installation.

    With the addition of new models since the last major update and now expanded with this new upgrade I was wondering wether the download section of the website is going to be updated to show only compatible mods? Many skins are now obsolete due to new unit models and I find it quite hard to browse through all the offerings not really knowing wether I can use it or not. Maybe we should start a sticky with a list of working mods?

  19. Right, that clears it up quite nicely. Thank you. So basically whenever you're playing against the AI you'll always be at a somewhat disadvantage in term of targetting effectiveness/speed. Or does the AI get the disadvantage of some coded delay in actually firing to make up for this?
  20. That springs a question in my mind: Does the AI have trouble 'seeing' other vehicles at the edges of woods? Or in other words does the AI suffer from seeing through camouflage?
  21. Hi there! At least you have military experience, I don't have any! Welcome to the pack. Many people here have much knowledge about mechanized warfare, so if you want to know something and the search function doesn't help, do not hesitate to ask! Good timing as well, as there's going to be an upgrade very soon, but I bet you already know that.
