My older stick shows 1.18, so guess that's the newest firmware I'm going to get. I used the email link(for the 3.02 lic) and it seemed to wk fine. My tray Icon is blue and shows 2 Lic. containers. The esim game is empty and the CM stick shows a lic. I'm guessing it is the correct one since I can run 3.02. I haven't really done anything but start the SIM and look around a little. BTW I did upgrade to 5.00D(Code Meter software) before I did anything else

What Email I didn't get no stinkin email:(

They have added the new NATO air mines to the sim, and had to add away to counter them.

I got part 1 and the codemeter Lic. Question: Should I save the slide show files before uninstalling, if so does anybody remember where they are and what they are named ?

LOL well that is a bit of an issue. I'm assuming I will find a fix. My wife's year old laptop has Vista and I havent had any real issues. So far the frame rate problem is the only glitch I have found. I do like some of Vista features (media center works better). I have to agree it wasnt a huge improvement( over XP) and it is a bit naggy but I'm married and used to it. Hopefully Microsoft will do a little better developing amd marketing Win. 7. I just don't think Microsoft is the evil satan many people make them out to be(the AntiChrist maybe).

I just finished building my new system: Intel Core 2 Duo 8500 3.16Ghz 4 GB (2 X 2 GB) 8500 RAM EVGA 9800 GT 512 ASUS P5Q Pro Motherboard Vista Home Premium 32 Installed SB no problem system running great except.... I go go from 60 fps to approx 10 fps. I have tried locking the motherboard processor on turbo mode. I shut down my Kaspersky Internet security and set the video card to performance mode. Tried windowed and full screen and reduced the terrain detail distances. No effect. I am running the 180.48 Nvidia driver. Would try a different driver but not sure where to find them. I could try the newest EVGA drivers but it is also 180.48 I believe. From what I have read other people are also having this problem. Has anybody found a solution ? FYI , this problem aside VISTA has been running great. I had it installed and running in about 45 min. The next night I transferred my settings from my XP machine. I really had trouble choosing between XP or Vista, XP runs great but is getting long in the tooth, VISTA has a bad reputation,but the software gets 4 out of 5 on NEWEGG so I rolled the dice and so far I'm happy. I would have liked to hold out for Windows 7 but thats at least a year off then at least another year before it's running good. Anyway not that my opinion matters just seems Vista gets kind of a bad rap, as I recall XP sucked pretty bad when it first came out.

Just bought a Saitek X52 for FSX and was wondering if anybody had a profile for SB. Preferrebly in a DAT file since I'm lazy.

I was actually just curious as to what factors were involved in the frame rate or if I had something set wrong. Even though the frame rate was very low it still seemed playable. I'm sure I will die just as fast in this scenario as any other. I appreciate your hard work and also your advice.

When the scenario opens, I'm located at an M113/FO (external view) in a wooded area south or southwest of all the action (actually off the map) and my frame rate is 19-20. So I guess all the other units and action is dragging the frame rate down even though not much is happening where I'm located. If I jump to other vehicles that are engaged the frame rate drops to 12 + or -.

Down loaded the Fulda Gap South sce this week and I have noticed my frame rates vary from 12-20. I have tried changing my video card settings to lower values, no improvement . I then switched to instant action where my frame rates where in the high 50's to low 60's. I next loaded the Danish 1 v1.3 sce and had frame rates in the 45-60 range. Just curious why the low frame rates in this particular scenario. Is it possible to change ammunition load out and add vehicle types to a scenario. I've not tried to build my own yet, but would like to try some of the new platforms and ammunition types. If so could someone point me in the right direction. Sorry I know this is probably stupid question

Where are the improved fire mods uploaded at. I want to install them in the beta. I down loaded and installed them a few weeks ago but can't for the life of me remember from where. A mind what a terrible thing to waste.:confused: I'm assuming they should work in the beta.
