  1. Got my cow elk this week. We will survive the winter!
  2. Thanks base! Still working out some ghost shadows from shapes removed and the basket on the turret top that protected a wind sensor is cross mapped with hand grabs so it may have to stay. Dejawolf is helping me out and I am bugging him about kit bashing a real 1A3/4. I love my M1's, M60A3 and the 1A3/4 is number three on my list of fav Cold War tanks. Bundeswer has some neat gear.

  4. Thanks Chris. The 1A3 is not perfect as the tool boxes and the cage around the wind sensor will have to stay. Main difference visually from a 3 to 4 are some sights for the most part. I would have to dig into the books for the real details.

  6. Getting somewhere on the Leopard 1A3 vizmod. It has not been easy and requires some magic as far as dds files go. Still have some ghost shadows that I can't get rid of yet. Pete
  7. I got real problems with the T-62 right now. For an unknown reason I have lost the timber and the tow cables on the model and I cannot figure it out.

    IPM1, M1A1 & M1A1 (HA) v4.006 by dpabrams Description: These updated versions are in CARC schemes and include woodland, autumn, desert sand and winter textures. Most of the original texture has been detailed, modified or redrawn. Nearly all the original hardware, hinges, nuts, bolts, grates, handles and caps have been detailed and replaced. The wheels have been rebuilt to include all new nuts and hubs. A barrel reference system has been built, cable crew step added and a new gun mantlet built. The welds were redone for the entire skin and new cable covers built for the turret. Most notably the tarp has been removed from the bustle rack.
  12. I will put out a IPM1, M1A1 and M1A1(HA) pack, a T-62 and a AS1 to Leopard 1A3 first and I do have a thread in mods.
  13. Please can someone help a brother out? I thought the basket was the grid.dds but I am not having any luck erasing that. I can't locate jerry cans but I suspect US_stowage.
  14. I am posting this as I believe there are several of us that are starting to dabble in this dark art. So for the first post I am looking to get the Leopard AS1 closer to the original Leopard 1A3. The rear turret basket is a bit of a mystery and is a separate texture that I have not been able to locate. Anyone know what texture it is? Thanks, Pete

  16. A bit of a rework of the T-62. Color matched to the T-55's and the details added in 3.002 to include a drivers hatch and better details of the fuel tanks, wheels and sprockets. Pete
  17. Checking the manual it says, "For 64-bit Windows 7 a typical path is C:\Program Files (x86)\eSim Games\SB Pro." under Program Files page 17. A bit of a contradiction. So I did the install per the manual and all is great. I only found this today as I am writing up a set of instructions for adding mods.
  18. I am writing instructions for the installation of the IPM1, M1A1 & M1A1 (HA) v4.006 update. It's more complicated than usual so I wonder if I can get a few volunteers to check things out. Testing will require that you have drop box. PM me with your email and I will send out an invite when they are ready, which should be today.
  19. OK, the desert IPM1, M1A1 and M1A1(HA) are done. Having trouble with the winter units however. I seem that mods that wish have parts that are alpha'd out have to be placed in the X:\Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures\woodland and then the X:\Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures\woodland\us for woodland for example. I had to do X:\Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures\desert and X:\Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures\desert\us for desert, however the same trick does not work for winter?
