  1. I just found one also on ebay for 35.00 shipped. Where do you get the key templates?
  2. Marder gunnery? Where the hell is the manual? And for that matter the Luchs? I don't see Wiki entries and I cannot figure them out. Well I can a little but I the "Page Down" key is no good for selecting the rate of fire.
  3. Ended up with a 240 GB Intel 540s Series SSD -- Read: 560MB/s, Write: 480MB/s . I will just throw in the 1TB I am using now for data. Got the whole rig shipped for 1657.00

  5. There were a lot of option on the SSD but I have no idea how this stuff works as far as partitions and the like.
  6. I appreciate the feedback. Best price break is at the 1060. The SLI is more of a year or two down the road thing when a 1060 card is really cheaper and the extra 20% fps may be worth it.
  7. Well, it was time for an upgrade and the PC is slowing. Still able to get Windows 7 64-bit and I thought I better get, while the getting is good. It has been three years since the last build. At least this time I will have an SLI ready motherboard for the duel cards at some point. The 4.0 SBPro PE has some demands. I have tried the MSI burner but I am still creeping at <10 fps during some intense firefights. Here are the major parts of the new PC: Processor 1 x Intel® Core™ i7-6700K Processor (4x 4.00GHz/8MB L3 Cache) - Intel® Core™ i7-6700K Memory 1 x 32 GB [8 GB x4] DDR4-2800 Memory Module - ADATA XPG Z1 Video Card 1 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 6GB (VR-Ready) Motherboard 1 x MSI Z170A Gaming M5 -- 3x PCIe 3.0 x16, 4x USB 3.1, 2x USB 3.0, 2x M.2, DDR4 Memory Power Supply 1 x 750 Watt - Thermaltake SMART SP-750PCBUS Primary Hard Drive 1 x 2 TB HARD DRIVE -- 64MB Cache, 7200RPM, 6.0Gb/s - Single Drive *Free Upgrade to 3TB Hard Drive* Sound Card 1 x Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Rx [PCIE] -- 7.1 Channels, 192kHz/24-bit, 106 dB SNR I hope I get some serious gain here. 8. I have been working up my V3 M1 skins to now include the existing decals and doing a general update to release a V4 pack. The models have not changed that I can tell for the M1 series. However, I am having some trouble with the gear bags on the rear on the M1A0. The bags are see through along with some parts of the turret. Whats the matter? Is is a conversion to dds issue? I generally make my skins in PSP and save as a PSD file to convert to a dds using Photoshop. Next issue. Is there a way to "alpha" out the equipment bag in the rear bustle rack of the IPM1 and MA1A's? I think the tank would look better without the low rez tarp. Thanks, Pete
  9. I see. I wonder if there are any consultants here on the boards that have actually operated one? Maybe time ask a vet?
  10. Is that why I can't find a wiki on that POS? I tried in once......................once
  11. Doesn't look like the Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset has a USB but I think there is an adapter I can get. Click to open expanded view
  12. OK, it's official I am coming out of the solitaire proverbial closet. I ordered a head set and installed Teamspeak!
  13. Getting ready to take the plunge and actually play a human freakin being. I run Windows 7, 64-bit and have a mic plug in on the tower about 24" from my ears. Any ideas for a mic and headset? I am clueless. Thanks, Pete
  14. Mirzayev and I have every intention of starting a one on one session. I have went through the newbie starter kit and need to install team speak and maybe get a head set, although I wonder if mic on my logitech camera will work for now. It takes me no time to whip up a platoon or company engagement.
  15. I am curious if there are other players like myself that do not play human opponents? I have had ProPE for years now. I have posted and done many mods so I am familiar with the community but I have never played more than just the AI. I do this by playing almost exclusively in the scenario editor/ testing mode. I mostly part play on maps that I have edited, theme and all. I set up my scenarios mostly in the Golan Heights, Germany and Korea. Because of all the great additions most of my scenarios can be played both ways. I enjoy playing this way but at some point I have to join the RW. I wonder if there are also guys that just play each other? I would like to find someone in or close to US mountain time to possibly play against one on one. Please PM me if interested. Pete
  16. I would like to fill some gaps: M2/3 0 and A1 playable M2/3 0 and A1 playable M2/3 0 and A1 playable M2/3 0 and A1 playable M2/3 0 and A1 playable Manpac SAMS like SA-7, Stinger Russian 30mm grenade attachments M60 MG (the old one) M151 BMP-2 with add on armor T-64BV T-80A/B/BV M125
  17. 3D top down command and viewing. I can sit and fire HE grenades from 203's all day. Forget ATGM's the 40mm grenade is a death ray.
  18. It's pretty cool how the infantry has evolved and really added to the sim. Long way from sprites!
  19. Ssnake thank for the reply. What I mean is can the existing vehicle emplacement model be more flexible to allow for more man sized fighting positions? Perhaps to replicate a trench or foxhole? These position would not be so wide and long and be more relative to the size of a team or squad.
  20. I wonder if you allowed more variation in the vehicle emplacement model, to allow for smaller "holes" with varying depths if that would be the short cut? the
  21. Man I spent several hours dinking with this trying to create a an H-series Mech infantry platoon and I just can't get the squad designations to match up. Per below diagram I would love to have the granularity to have Mech squad that looked like this: 1-1A APC 1-1A- 4 man fire team 1-1B- 3 man fire team 1-1C- AT team You can currently model the grenadier, SAW gunner and a M60 gunner which makes you only one SAW short by giving one fire team the 7.62 MG option and the other the 5.56 MG option. Trouble comes when adding the Anti armor specialist as you never get a "C" squad fire team designation. I can add the AT team but they hace 1-5A designations. Then I can only seem to mate them to a 2-1A APC that I create. I thought about doing as someone above mentioned and split a 9 man squad, making one a 5 man "A" a fire team and the 4-man "B" team the AT gunner also. Pete
  22. I wasn't clear, Vikingo wanted a sample scenario so he could see the routing needed.
