  2. Hehe... it was my 1st SB battle in months, so I had to stack the odds a tiny little bit in my favour. :helmet: But those T-55s and T-62s are no cakewalk. I've actually managed to lose quite a few Leo 2s while testing the scenario. Quantity, especially at at short-ish ranges, certainly has a quality of its own. :biggrin:

  5. Haven't played SB in quite some time and just wanted to install a couple of maps, but I'm unsure where exactly the files go under Windows7. Manual didn't help since it only refers to XP file structure. So far I found the following folders: C:\Users\J.Baur\AppData\Roaming\eSim Games\Steel Beasts C:\Users\J.Baur\AppData\Local\eSim Games\Steel Beasts C:\Users\J.Baur\Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts C:\Program Files (x86)\eSim Games\SB Pro PE I am completely confused about the file/folder structure by now...
  6. Got my upgrade today, took 8 days, not bad considering last friday&monday were holidays here in Germany, well done! And I didn't even have to visit the customs office this time, explaining what a "Dongle" is and why I order tank simulations from the US... :biggrin:

    I run it exclusively with the Beta, works just fine on my system. Keep in mind that you have to activate the bloom mod in-game with SHIFT-F12 after you've started SB. @Hedgehog: I changed a couple of other values besides the ones in the [bloom] section, so I just thought it was easier to post the whole thing than three-four sections of it.

    Glad you like them. And yes, I turned the effects down considerably. I spent another hour this afternoon and the result is the pic below. BTW the screenshots turn out much darker than the in-game image, so I had to brighten the screenshots quite a bit. When looking at the pics I posted earlier now (night, less light in my room) I realize that they' still darker than in-game. The attached pic below shows pretty how it looks in SB. PS: Big thanks to Von_Virus, I used his file as basis.
