Weekends are good for me. Friday nights are okay too as long as they don't start before 7 or 8 EST. I just need a little more time to get acclimated with the sim before I'm ready to become a sabot-magnet in MP :biggrin:

Hi guys, Just getting back into the saddle after a long time away from SB, and pretty much everything else (long story, bad car wreck). Does anyone know of any virtual units that practice and battle it out at more US-friendly evening hours? The GMT events are the middle of the afternoon for me and not doable if I plan to remain gainfully employed. Thanks for any help! Sorry if this isn't the right forum for a question like this.

Thanks for all the tips and encouragement you've all posted in this thread. I've messed around with SB before when I first bought it awhile back, but now I'm trying to seriously learn SB so that I can join MP games, and enjoy the cooperative and teamwork elements that single-player mode just can't give you. All of the helpful feedback here is very motivating when faced with the daunting task of learning a highly-detailed sim.

That AAR was great. I think I picked up a few tactical tips just by reading it. I just bought the sim a couple of weeks ago, and would really like to try multiplayer, but I'm worried that my newbie status might put my team at a disadvantage. I'm not a complete hack and do manage to rack up some kills before I inevitably catch a sabot with my face. However I think practicing with a group might be a good way to learn the ropes, not to mention tremendous fun. Does anyone have any tips for getting started with an organized multiplayer session like this? Are there any "newb-friendly" virtual units? Thanks, GG
