1. I got to do something similar when doing my "ice training" when taking my driving license, it was more for fun and something extra. They just turned us over slowly and taught us techniques on how to get out in a decent manner while upside down. That second movie looked like fun! They should charge for that, I'd go!
2. It's a very good series in my eyes. It can be bought as "import" at a few places here in Sweden. But at around 600-700SEK for the box that's close to 100SEK per episode. Expensive but it's a very good series. I am waiting for the swedish release with a lower pricetag and subtitles. To help with currency values to illustrate the swedish prices... 100SEK is... 8.87 Euros 11.44 USD (close to 70USD for the box compared to the 26USD mentioned above) Anyways, I enjoyed this series. I am yet to see the last episode though.

"a bit better" is an understatement. Awesome change from the original green.
4. Sure. It's just a ASLAV-25 in fortification and some target on flat terrain though. I even removed the fortification to test and it still shot short. Nas_Flat_Test(ASLAV25 prob).zip
5. When I put an AI in the ASLAV-25 it shoots short and does not compensate. I made a small mission and the AI emptied his AP load into the ground without aiming higher to hit. The LAV-25 does not have this problem though.
6. From what I've experienced The Leo2A4 and M1 got the old roofs. And rooftextures from "old" skins work perfect. And as for decals. I've only tried to use dds as I know it works with alpha channel which is used. And they work like regular skin files. You pop a set into the winter folder and it shows up during winter, desert for desert and so forth. So you can have different set for different seasons.
7. Awesome! I love the mud and snow splashes on the winter one. I'd love to get my hands on that layer to be honest.
8. Just wanted to show you how the winter one look. The barrel makes a big difference in my eyes. I'm playing around with a fictional desert version. Pretty much same layout of the camouflage. But the grayish green becomes brown and the original green becomes desert-tan. It's a "what if" kind of deal.
9. The roundel on the searchlight is gone in the released one (if I remembered to put in the updated decal file). I'll make the roundel smaller in a small update and also move the serial number on the front to above the "V" shape thing. Any other things that I should look into? UPDATED I am working on updating the winter version now. Nothing major at all but I thought it would be a nice thing to add. I am adding the white camouflage on the barrel seen below. UPDATE #2 New Version uploaded and waiting approval.
10. The regular woodland camo but with a layer of thin snow on it.
11. Nice, all you need to do now is to do a winterversion of the woodland one and you got a complete set! Woodland, desert and winter!

A Finnish T-72 for use with the new T-72 model. Comes with a woodland and winter version.

Original template: Dejawolf
Repaint: Svante "Nasder" Stenberg
13. Thanks for that, I've now fixed those issues.
14. Turret and hull are "done" I am just somewhat happy with the way it looks. I will release this as a version 1 and work on creating a better balance in the camo on the turret and the hull. it was hard to get a good feel to it as the skirt are mirrored so you have to start working from symmetrical side and work into a non symetric center. I felt that it was very hard to get a balance which I was really happy with. Anyways, this is what it looks like now and I'm "happy enough" with it to release it.
15. Here's what I am working on right now. A finnish T-72, I like to have it on the blue side, and since there's not one yet, I decided to make one. I got the sideskirts done and linked them up to the hull. This was a pain to fix, they still look out of place depending on which direction you look at it from. I can't perfect it anymore. Even if they are dead on from the side. They can look 1decimeter off in any direction in game if you look at it from the left or right. Anyways, I got the hull, turret and barrel left to paint. My estimate is that I should be done with it at the end of the weekend if not before.

Skin by Dejawolf. Fictional Australian Decal file by Nasder. The M1A1 made to look a bit more like the ASLAV colorwise.
18. Haven't found a decal file for aussie M1A1 around. I couldn't find any good image of one to work from either, all images I found with a quick search were of Marine or US army M1's. But I made a fictional one that I just completed. I'll just make a readme file and upload this texture and the decals asap.
19. Desert tan with green and black? Should take seconds to be honest. Done. This work is completely unedited from the template. I just simply rearranged some layers and saved it as a dds file. All work for this texture goes to Dejawolf. PS. This attached file is not the winter skin you see in the images here but an australian look-a-like texture. It holds no decal file and no roof texture to match it. M1A1_Aussie_look.zip
20. Yeah, DXT 3 is the way to go. Used it alot when doing FSX textures. Anyways, the file is being uploaded right now so it should be avalible for download in a day or two. Enjoy!

Four different textures for the M1A1, all in winter theme. Also includes an updated decal file for the M1A1. Please read the Readme.txt in the zip file for more information. Original template by Dejawolf Recoloring by Svante "Nasder" Stenberg
22. That did the trick, thank you! Here's an update. Please note that the original texture is still available and will be released along with this version too. I made four different versions of this simple recoloring to fit different tastes. Here's what I've done to the decal file so far. On the tiles on the turret I added the text "this side out". I recolored the skirt numbers to suit the colors better. I also added the word "freedom" on the barrel. There will be two decal files in the release to compensate for the skirt color under the number. I'm in the final stage, making screen shots to post with my upload and writing a Read Me file. I can't do much more than give Dejawolf almost full credit for this. His template is amazing. I hold no artistic skills but with his template I could make this really nice thing.
23. I figured that's how the decals work. I'm about to start playing around with it some. Channels filtrate the "regular" image on what's to be shown. And the regular one decides which color? I made some modifications and when I try and save it as a dds file, it tells me error "Too many channels to export (5)". However, I got around this by saving without channels then loading up the dds file and imported the modified channel. I can't seem to figure out why it said too many channels. I had 5, rgb, red, green, blue and alpha 1. Nothing more.
24. I will not take any credit in this at all. Because with the new template it was too easy to make. It took me a minute or two. And most of that time was making a playlist to listen to while I work and test the texture. What's done. The brown camo was changed into black. The black camo was changed into white. Very simple, I am looking into how the abrams decal file work and I'll do something with that. This is a version 1. Hit me with the constructive criticism stick!
25. Brilliant! I had the files there, but I replaced them with the ones from woodland. This fixed the M1A1, Pizarro and BMD-2 problem. All done! To fix the TIS problem, I copied soldier_1 to 3 from TIS to tis_winter
