I was surprised when I read that the PUMAs machinegun is a 5.56mm HK MG4. How will it perform over ranges of 400m compared to a 7.62mm? Seems one of the ideas behind it was that the infantry section could use the ammo in case of an emergency shortage of ammo in their own guns.

In the mission editoer there are two choices. Either artillery calls by dedicated spotter-units or free for all. Which is used in real military operations? Art observers (both infantry and vehicles) are rare, and they would probably be used up pretty fast in an allout conflict and I guess other units often are the ones who call for support. Would a tank or infantry unit have the radios to call for artillery? How does it work in SB if you chose the "art calls for all"-setting? Does it set a higher priority for dedicated observer units?

Maybe some movement among the branches. And to be able to set the wind in the mission editor (or randomize it). So many ideas so little money! :biggrin:

How are Spanish and Austrian tank platoons and companies (and battalions if you have the info) organized? Do they use 3 or 4 tanks, a single tank for the commander or an extra for the XO? And the same for their Pizarro/ULAN units. How are they organized?
