    While testing a scenario unspawned vehicles displayed crews and these where detected and showed up as enemy units by BLUFOR, see screen shot.

  6. It’s where you find the texture files to mod inf, for windows: docs/eSim Games/steelbeasts/mods/textures/camo Of cause SB uses US equipment clothing and the FAMAS weapon but using Brit DPM. But now we need to start getting into the multi cam game.

  11. Bug = Regards manning an MG INF unit, once a team/section member has been shot you can no longer man the MG!? seems to be a onetime deal, unlike the missile/HMG/AG teams.

  13. Ok, so here is a little help for people during this difficult time, a bit of therapy so to speak…first, breathing exercises, slow and deep. Next, try stepping away from your computer/laptop for a little while a short distance, we can increase those timings and distance later… don’t drink coffee, or Mountain dew or do cocaine over the nest 48hrs. talk to real people if you feel you need help, stroke the dog or cat for at least 10min, even feed the goldfish if needs be….

    nop, still cannot get it to work, if i adjust the channels in any way the file will not save, for some dam reason. bummer! someone posted a ZSU-23-4 video on this form rescently, note the color of the strike dirt, thats what im talking about, its almost always light gray.

    Ok, opened DDS files in Photoshop. Went to channels, highlighted the Alpha channel, un-highlighted the 4 RGB channels. Went to layers, added a layer, painted it light gray, flattened the image. Saved as DDS checked Explicit Alpha and DXT3 Did this to diertspray1 and 2, removed other versions of the file from image folder Fired up SB Pro…..no change! the graphic and color is the same, a dark brown???? can anyone see where i am going wrong?

    There are only channels not layers, the channels don’t seem to be adjustable, nothing I do seems to change anything. When you open the DDS file its just white, the shape or Alpha 1 channel is hidden, when not hidden the shape is white the rest is pink. Do I need to do something to make the channels adjustable? thanks
  18. Guys looking to try change the color of the dirtspry graphic. I note there are 3 files named dirtspray 1,2,3. dirtspray 3 appears to be the arty impact, 1 looks like the small arms impact with ground, is 2 the effect of rounds hitting walls and tanks? I note when I view the dds files in photoshop channels, there are 4 layers what would I need to do to change the colors? I am trying to turn the round strike into a light gray color. Having been looking over videos, this seems to be the most common effect, a light gray puff of dust or dirt. thanks

  20. I have been building a map for a while now and have put it aside while we wait for 2.6 as im sure there will be lots of adjustments and new options, I think? Could we get more insight into the new stuff for map makers while we wait? The categories are interesting on the image 079, for instance Religious, are there mosques now? Can we expect to see a few new buildings or a lot of new stuff? Are we able to expand on airfields? Create ports? As anything been added that might help us populate built up areas faster? im asking as it might influence my work while I wait. thanks
  21. Could I ask if we made any progress by adding any red engineering/support capable equipment like BMP eng or ambulance, so we are not restricted to using the M113? Thanks.
  22. Is it possible to repeat a message each time a red unit, any red unit, enters an area. At the moment I can use events and a zone to alert me when a red unit enters that zone, but not repeat when another enters the zone. Is there a way of using the events, conditions, triggers to reset another so every time unit x or y enters zone x I get a message each time? Thanks guys.
