Speaking as someone who has been around the ACE team for a while I can say this. The ACE armor system is not up to par against Pro PE. It is much better than default ArmA 2, however it is not a competitor to Pro PE. The FCS they added is pretty good, but still not up to par against Pro PE. Over all, ACE 2 is a step up from ArmA 2, but Pro PE is a different animal.

I'll be blunt, I would have joined up when I became of age, unfortunately I am 4F, and I couldn't join if I tried. Otherwise I probably would have joined the military when I was 17 or 18. The main reason I play sims like this is because I can't do the real thing.

All that Pro PE comes with is: DVD, DVD Case, Printed Manual, Dongle, and a USPS box it's shipped in....

I like to call it "Hell Hour", because it's usually the hour at which the actual operations begin (IIRC, if I'm wrong PLEASE correct me).

OK, that answers that, I was more thinking it was modeling sort of an auto cutoff to prevent melting of the coax, not actually the coax melting....

I noticed a possible issue with the M1 COAX. I noticed that after a while the coax overheats, well i discovered that it doesn't start fixing itself unless you are not moving. I don't believe that this is correct behavior, as why would you have to stop for the gun to cool down... (of course i could be wrong)

LOL! You forgot the part about the missiles being completely deadly to surrounding infantry, but not tanks.

on TGIF, it was a coop, and I stated that I wasn't afraid of T-80s... turns out, I was wrong... as i got owned multiple times in the face by T-80s...
