Nice LAN party Mark, sure beats waiting to see if the rain will clear to see if the local airshow will go ahead today and tomorrow.

1:6 scale Leopard 1 RC Tank videos:
The hull is completely sealed at its underside. It has a wading depth of at least 20 cm. The turret is in work. A gun elevation will also be implemented. The model was completely scratch built. The hull is one large welded assembly with a weight of 55 kg. Most other RC tanks are built from screwed together aluminum plates.
I manufacture the parts by milling, laser cutting and so on.

Best Mi-24 documentary I have watched.
Nice aircraft, was in one at Farnborough once, The avionics/weapons systems had been replaced with units from BAE systems, quite impressive

That is a little south and west of where I am working on a map, I'm including the training grounds at Leopoldsburg and near Houthalen.

It should be fine, and I am not intending to update the PC before end 2014I see no reason with your machine for a premature update. The GTX 580 should hold up well.
Well the laptop runs the current version just fine with it's Intel HD integrated graphics, it is quicker due to the SSD in loading etc. compared with my desktop.Me neither. So, will a SSD make as big a difference in version 3?

Ouch! But in a good way
I was hoping for another year or so before having to "reinvigorate" my 2 year or so old PC, i7 965 @3.2GHz 12GB RAM, GTX580.
Now will there be any advantage in turning shadows off in multiplayer sessions? Is it going to unbalance the difficulty between one with shadows and one without?
I will wait and see how my laptop does with it's Intel i7 integrated graphics, but I don't hold out any hope beyond setting 0 for it

Not sure if everyone has seen LukeFF's thread about his visit to the Latrun Tank Museum in Israel on the SimHQ website, lots of lovely pics of different tanks there

Well, I'll be damned, the first truck I ever owned was a red '73 Ford F-100 with a 390. Too bad we don't have a terrain map of Prescott, Arizona so that I could run that puppy up Whisky Row during the Fourth of July Parade.
Is that red containers I see behind the HESCO behind the red pickup?

I have uploaded it to the official army site on facebook.
Written some stuff about what the new version is going to include etc.
Well they are getting hit from a few different directions My only worry if the UK MOD started to use SB is that they would make it classified and eSim would have to remove stuff from the PE version

Yeah everyone loves a show-offOf course whenever I need a hit, I just leave the office and go down to the compound.
and no we are not jealous - not half lol

I'll have to dig out the pics of a Unimog we converted for surveillance with CCTV cameras etc.I prefer the german version. I hope Falli can fix his PC problems.Whats next, a crewable Unimog with polish markers?
We did use a camera system that was developed for battlefield surveillance by Hunting Engineering (now part of Lockhead-Martin) it worked kind of like a periscope and took a 360 degree image in about 1 second and displayed it on a monitor.

Amen to that! now when is it crewable? Thanks eSim :biggrin:yes I know we are ungrateful

Just how many ways can you ask "if you are happy do your wits fly out the window?"

Yaaah! Thank you!Today it's a bit about the new or updated maps. I didn't illustrate the new Paderborn map that will be coming, thanks to the untiring efforts of user "Manteuffel" who's been manually editing the whole region for the past two or three years.Zipuli's map is also about as detailed as it gets by manual editing. One of the tasks (for us) in the coming 12 months is to make it easier to fill the terrain with traffic signs and other small "clutter" without having to place each by hand. Otherwise I don't think that the level of detail could be increased substantially in broad regions on the map (rather than a few, tiny islands that might have everything).

So now we can model Austrians, Norwegians and Italians...well.
Belgians as well, they use the Iveco here too, but with a different RWS.
