  1. There is nothing wrong with MP. In fact there are rules that have been put in place to prevent the MP from being unprofessional. I have noticed that a lot of the members who come to play have more problems with the port forwarding set up than anything else. But hopefully that will be fix soon.
  2. No, the turret side armor on the abrams is not as strong as the turret frontal armor. A Kornet will not penetrate the frontal armor of a Abrams. Infact the armor is layered different around the ammo compartment than it is around the crew compartment.
  3. Yes there is youtube videos made by Toyguy that explains alot in detail: and many more
  4. For the members who did play in 3rd Armor. You are welcome to join the new VU. As you see there is new rules posted. So feel free to come and join us, that goes for any other members.
  5. It was taken down, the details of why it was doesn't need to be posted here. Just say that we lost a member.
  6. AGT1500 Here: Gross torque at 3000 rpm NBC on-2561 lb-ft NBC off-2626 lb-ft Maximum torque at 1500 rpm NBC on-3842 lb-ft NBC off-3885 lb-ft=5267.35273575 Nm Response Transient, idle to 90% rated power 4 sec Power decay, 100 to 20% power 5 sec
  7. On the M1A1 you have to dump. The M1A1 has the SAHA, the M1A2 SEP has the DAHA. And no you can keep the last Ballistic Solution until you lase again on the SEP. After you lase again the IFCEU which is the Improved Fire Control Electronics Unit will send the new information for the solution to the Turret Mission Processing Unit, which there it is stored and Calculated. No corruption happens here due high rate of calculations and all the signals being sent to the IFCEU and then to the TMPU. Also when gunner's handles and CCHA are centered, IFCEU automatically sets lead to zero.
  8. also gunnery techniques are important here. your tank enemy tank stationary to stationary- Lase, dump, fire stationary to moving- which is the case on the range-lase, track, lase, fire moving to moving- lase, track, lase, fire moving to stationary- lase, track, lase, fire troops are a little different- lase, dump, fire-any situation On a moving target come in from behind the target and track center mass of the target. Also look at the ammunition up in the upper right hand corner. Ssnake has brief you about the ammo selects. You don't have to dump your lead in the SEP, the lead will continually update every 0.3 seconds until palm switches are released. These techniques is what I use and I score 100% on the gunnery range. Also watch your range distance on the second lase.
  9. great news for some, bad for others. I will not be able to CO this Friday. Have fun good luck!
  10. I'll CO blue, Also I will plan my battle the night of TGIF.
  11. maybe he's talking about the type of trees. ; )
  12. I reviewed the AAR from Friday night and I took a few screen shots. I'm not sure if this was done intentionally at the beginning by red. The platoons formations was in a wedge facing east which would have cause one of their vehicles to slide into the water.
  13. CROWS 2: Four-Axis Targeting System Three-Axis Vector Stabilization Day Camera: 27X, FOV 1.7 to 47 deg. Night Camera (thermal): 10 degrees, 5 degrees, 3.3 degrees, and 1.7 degrees. Auto Focus (Day and Thermal) Auto Tracker / Auto Lead / Auto Scan Laser Range Finder Target Reference Points Elevation: +60 degrees Depression: -20 degrees 2000 meters for identifying targets, range of fire depends on weapon mounted. Also the M1A2 SEP is a very good tank. You just need to learn how to use it and how its FCS works. You don't have to use the FLEX 50.
  14. NP friend, I am sure we will have many more exciting missions coming up. I have started building more missions lately and so have some of the other guys. Assassin7
  15. The CO picking the teams is not asking the players to play the vehicle that the player would like to play. TGIF has been going just fine years before you or I got here. So I don't think the changes is going to make a difference. It will eventually go back to the way it has been, it always has in the past. Players show up, choose the team of their choice. Players choose a command position if they want to and players go have fun shooting each other after 40 minutes of planning and going back to collect players who dropped out. No big deal.
  16. Also I disagree with the team picking and the mission being given out early. The reason is that the players who show up, should be able the pick what tank or PC that they would like use. Not be forced. Also there was no problems before when the mission was given on the same night. Most of the time the mission starts 40 minutes after the meeting time, I noticed this happens also when the mission is given to us earlier in the week. So really it doesn't matter. The CO should be able to plan and be able to adjust to what ever is put in front of him. My personal opinion is that TGIF should stay like it was.
  17. I need to talk to all my platoon leaders and my XO. So when you have a chance please drop by TeamSpeak. Assassin7 65C - Rotareneg 1/C - MDF 2/C - enigma6584 3/C - Connaugh TBC 4/C - RedWardancer
  18. It was a very good battle. This mission has always been a tough fight between both sides. Very fun and thanks V for choosing that mission.
