  2. You are welcome too. By the way. We do not compete against any other virtual unit. Understand us as a little enrichment of the steel beasts community.
  3. You are welcome :-) On our website www.vu414.info you see a clock that shows the CET (Central Europe Time). This makes it easier for you to check the different between your timezone and the CET.
  4. Some data changed. Please look above my first entry in this thread.
  5. Make advertising for your virtual Unit. Join our Toplist
  6. Thank you for your good advices and for playing the CO. You are welcome.

    Server Problem

Yes, DynDNS-Names are working. Had my first Guest on the server.
  8. Hello, let me introduce a new server to you: Every fairplaying and comradely thinking one of you is welcome! We speak german and english Be sure that the first Meetings will not run in that professional way you are inured it, because we are noobies on Steel Beast Pro PE. So we are happy if you join us. Maybe some of you can bring us a little more professionality. But at all we want to offer a server where you have the possibility to train and learn with others from all countries. For any questions: info@vu414.info

    Server Problem

As i mentioned a few times above, the LAN connection works fine. The reason why i want to connect over internet, is to test two things 1. Is the server reachable for others outside? For myself i can only test the LAN connection till now. 2. Can i use DynDNS Name instead of IP? Noone answered this, so i must test it. The advantage of DynDNS-Name is, that it is static instead of the IP that changes every 24 hour. So if i invite others i could send them my DynDNS-Name one time, instead of sending them my IP everytime i start the server.

    Server Problem

No its no dongle problem. you can run a server via internet with the dongle. A man from the dongle company described me how. This is why i established a DynDns-Name for my IP. This DnyDns Name must be used in the webadmin of the stick on server side, when it searches for the dongle-server (Your home PC). But in this case the dongle makes no problems, since the information goes over LAN and both pcs run sb pro without problems. Some programs dont want letters in the IP field. They only accept numbers. This is the question, since i cannot test it, because of the problems above, i need an answer or someone who can test it with me. Any volunteers? Back to my problem above. My router is forwarding the ports to the Local IP of my server. And although both PCs have the same IP outside, only one of them (because of the forwarding) is visible for SteelBeasts Pro, because only to one PC (The Server) the ports are forwarded to. SBPro searches not only for the IP, but for the combination of IP and Port and this combination has only one PC (The Server). So normaly i must see my server over internet too.

    Server Problem

Is it possible to connect to a PC via DynDNS Name instead of typing the IP?

    Server Problem

The Servers are in LAN. As i wrote above the LAN connection works fine. I dont know if i understood you right. I already forwarded the ports to the local IP of the server in the box (IP like 192.168.178.*). Or do you mean i should forward to the IP i ve outside? Example: Local Server IP 192.168.178.22 Local Client IP: 192.168.178.24 In the FritzBox i can only forward a port to one IP. I cant forward 2300-2400 to both IPs. So i decided to take the internal Server IP. Are there Ports that i must forward for the client?
