  2. erhm, I actually came close to mentioning THAT, with the Milan launcher, but I didn't want to push it hehe.....that and the fact that the Boxer, according to the SBWiki, actually too normally is equipped with the Kraus Maffei weapon station, but that in this case, the standard RWS in SB is accepted as a replacement....just a thought hrm hrm mnyeah..... Great update though! I absolutely look forward to see it! Great work

  4. Speaking of weapon systems, would it be too early to reveal whether the fuchs, for example, will have the option of being equipped with an RWS? And will there be any addition of wheeled, player controlable ATGM carriers, apart from the tow equipped hummer?
  5. Yes it does, that is certainly helpful too, thank you I have actually used something similar in a previous scenario where a heli is supposed to patrol around a progressing convoy and then move ahead once the escort has passed a certain point and then assume a new patrol pattern etc.
  6. Thank you for your explanation. I've always wondered what exactly it meant, I know what the word means, but in relation to what I didn't know. The problem with mission time, at least as I experience it, maybe I'm just to dumb for something this complex, is, that I don't know when during the mission the contact is made and hence cannot "order" the helicopter to zoom to the area, assume a search pattern and then after xx minutes leave the area since there is no way to determine how many minutes/hours into the mission that this will occur. Or maybe I got the term mission time all wrong too? By the way, speaking of helicopters; Do you know by any chance in which file the cockpit glass for the tiger attack helicopter is? It does have a seperate file doesn't it. I can't seem to find anything in the tiger.dds that resembles the canopy glass.
  7. Ahh well, this is almost too embarrasing....erhm....it's solved. It turned out that I had missed a detail in the condition, that's all.

  9. Koen: well I haven't tried exactly as you've suggested. But I did use an event though saying embark if: this unit cannot see any enemy forces in region X and incremental time > X minutes. The heli just flew the patrol and after the X minutes were exceeded it just continued. Then i thought that maybe the incremental time part was the culprit, what the h.... does that actually mean anyway?, so that event 1 = no enemies seen in region X and then condition 1 = event 1 is true for X minutes....it still wouldn't budge, only if using a trigger. I'll try what you have suggested, thanks for replying

  11. Hello all, Well hope someone wil be able to help med with this. I'm making a scenario in which a patrol is backed up by a helicopter, which is on call. The idea is that if the ground unit spots a certain amount of enemy forces then the chopper will be spawned and fly to one of the zones in which the enemies are spotted, then, if contact is lost the chopper is to assume a patrol pattern of the area helping the ground units with finding the enemy. Until this step everything works, I've set up a patrol pattern with various maneuovers etc. The point is that after a while, say 30 minutes, I want it to leave its patrol box and disappear. This is possible with an exit route leading away from the are from one of the patrol waypoints only I can't get it, the sim., to trigger it automatically, only if it's triggered by, well, a trigger. I've tried to use incremental time, after true delay by etc. it just won't trigger that damn route, it just keeps flying around and around. Any idea anyone?

  17. Erhm, would it be possible to reveal if there will be any changes made on any of the wheelies, like the Fuchs, NZLAV and the Centauro for example? I'm not asking for details, only if these vehicles will remain as they are in the coming upgrade or there will be changes made to them.

  19. Erhm, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I just came to think of.....this comming upgrade can be downloaded and implemented in the previous version as usual, right? I mean, being the owner of the 2.654, I won't have to order a complete new cd and everything, will I?
