If you used the "one-time login link" in the email you do not have to write the "initial password" inside the mail anywhere. You have two fields 1. labeled "Password" 2. labeled "Confirm password" Put your own desired password in BOTH fields like the description say: This should work... The password strength stuff should only be a hint not a barrier. I tried to reproduce your issue and registered a new user, clicked the on-time login link and changed my password into "abc" (which is also a low password strength) without any problem....

Gibsonm, for the register process you can't give a password at all. You'll be emailed a generated one and you can change it in what ever you want, no matter how secure it is, after your first login.

Well, i never played SB1 and probably will never. Maybe it's a good idea to swap SB1 stuff out to a special page/section/whatsoever for historical reasons...

+1 for MS Security Essentials. Since i have a 64 Bit OS, i had some problems to find compatible security software. I tried some paid and also free solutions (Kaspersky, Comodo, other that i don't remember) and finally i stayed with MS Security Essentials and Windows 7 Firewall Control (by SphinxSoftware). I hated the big security suites which installed their own (hidden) network devices (like Kaspersky and Comodo do!) to route the whole traffic over them and i can't control it. And I don't need a firewall solution with "hyper secure intrusion detection" and such stuff. I am the master of my network traffic, not any "security" software :sonic:

Well, the result is a flash video file (.flv) which is viewed in a flash player (.swf). There is no need to edit the flv with adobe flash, it can be edited with any (good) video editing program. But the intention of twitch is not to present "edited" videos (youtube is way better for this), but to present the unedited live stream. Surely you're able to download, edit and reupload the video, but this is very time-consuming. If anyone want, he is free to do so as long as my (upcoming) website is mentioned in any re-release.

@DarkLabor: It's a little bit off topic, but you can delay the broadcasting so the braodcasting is not "live" anymore. That would be an option for H2H. To simple record a game you can use a screencam software (like fraps) and upload it on youtube anyway.

It was a first test and I'm glad you liked it. My plan is to stream selected combats (particularly the great international games) in the future. Yeah that's a limitation. As you said, the only way is to be kind of a war correspondent and don't play active But this way i could more concentrate on the big plan an jump to platoons/vehicles in action and comment everything which is imposible as an active player. Of course! I told my platoon five times, that i'll stream the game and every word (inside our channel) will be broadcasting. Well, it seems LtDan didn't get it and he was a little bit ashamed of his singing :biggrin:

There's no need to guess. I wrote it above in my specs. I can try to set up english commands and look how the program react. I'm not sure, but i think i don't have the english language pack installed... Edit: you are right. The Program did not work proper with commands in other language that the OS is. Some commands worked, but the most didn't.

Okay, i downloaded and installed the programm from Retros link, set up 2 commands in my native language (german), assigned the keys and viola it worked in steel beasts. My system: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (german) Creative HS-1200 wireless headset (USB) Steel Beasts Pro PE 2.654 So, what exactly is your problem?

I'm willing to help you, but only things i found on google with the term "vac" is the "valve anti cheat", "virtual audio cable" and a hungarian soccer club. Absolutely nothing! I just want to give back something to the community and i want to try out some things. I thought i is a bad idea to say something like "i don't like this and that on this page... improve it like this and that!" So i made my own page with my own imaginations. I never planed to build a page that makes steelbeasts.com dispensable, i wanted to build a page to complement steelbeasts.com and .org. As you may know, steelbeasts.net don't offer a discussion forum (e.g.) and will never do! PS: sorry for my bad english, i'm only a stupid german schnitzel.

I'm just workin' on a such feature for my site steelbeasts.net I don't want to store any informations on a third party site and so i make my own. The site is still under develpoment but the scenario database will be online soon. This is the first feature of the page which will be online. The other features (calendar function, campaign planer etc.) will follow step by step My plan was to realize a community page for the whole steel beasts community.
