  2. How about making a mini campaign? Just played the new campaign missions by AlphaSierra, something like that but Yom Kippur would be nice. Just have to finish the AS1(m60) skin, and the t-55, 62 and 72 skins so they look right.

  4. Hello! Have been wanting to play a Yom Kippur scenario, but lacked anything playable that would work. So here is my attempt on a Israeli M60 (Leo AS1). With markings for 1 company, 1 Bn, 401 Armoured brigade, dident add platoon or individual vehicle markings.   15. I have played for Leader Konstantin Chernenko/ Mikhail Gorbachev for two games now and its great fun, the T-72M1 have to be the most underestimated tank in the game :-) I will try to play as many games i can, but might have to work on one or two.
  16. For the AK4B the difference can be quite large, a "good weapon" give tight groups, and the "normal" give a wider dispersion. But "Normal" in this case is still accurate, but not just as accurate as the one you want to use for competition. (My favorite weapon thou was the M/45B submachine gun were you have to adjust the sights again and again every time you had cleaned it as you removed the barrel..)
  17. Another thing to think about when shooting long distances are temperature of the powder. If its really cold for instance you notice the difference in burnspeeds.
  18. When i first trained on the KSP 58B (FN MAG) we used to shot single rounds on the targets, but were always told not to since you get a better suppresive effect if you fire bursts. But the heavy barel, bipod etc gives it quite good accuracy out to atleast a couple of hundred meters, then the sight start to be wider than a man.. About selecting weapons, when we go to compete with the AK4B we first get a bunch from the armory, and the nhit the range. Then the weapons are graded after accuracy, since some are just better, more consistent. Those are selected for competition shooting.

  20. Hello Im starting on a new scenario, and im looking for a way to "Carry over" destroyed vehicles, burning houses etc from the previous scenario if its possible, any ideas?
  21. Hello, i was just wondering if there is a soundmod for the radio sounds? I found a DART sound that i use for "static3" but i was thinking of the other sounds, and if any one have the Ra180 sound? Also as a sidenote, why was the AK5 replaced? or was it something else initialy?

The data i was planing to use i have the right to use:-) But i understand the problem, specially when you have better data that you cant use:-( More and more countries now start using LIDAR, and the results are superb, sadly they dont often let you use it for anything other than research and mapping.
  23. Hello and thanks for your answers, the data i got is Unclassified, usally the secret stuff is on the "map layer", and are removed prior to publishing. So i could send the hightdata to someone, and they could import it for me? And then send me the data back?
  24. Dident find a presentation thread so i just did it like this. My name is Martin and im from Sweden, just got the game but playing on a loaned licence until i get the dongle:-) I have some questions about mission making etc and dident find a tutorial that is step by step from making the height map to populating the map. 1: I have a lot of height data in the 50.000 scale, is that usable? 2: Is there a way to add custom skins in the scenario? 3: Is there any good tools for using vector data and import it? Regards!
