  1. Why don't you just adjust delay condition on embark route... Giving it wanted delay before it moves?
  2. Make sure you have these settings set correct? I had this happen before... because it was set on "Stay outside"
  3. i wonder if that would be any good against drones?
  4. There is something really funny here... Sometimes.. It is as if I cannot spot targets with tag function (not in any way even when it is clearly visible). and then ... something spots targets that even I haven't or my gunner has not spotted? I spotted 2 tanks, my tank is facing north.. my gunner hasn't reported anything.. but something spotted those 2 pcs. Also in past when doing multicrew.. we have witnessed our tank.. even when fully manned.. spotting enemies from really long distances away (on regular basis hence we switched to use blind vehicles). Anyways.. my point is.. it is as if.. there is i don't know.. something really funny here. How comes I cannot tag targets (in any way) and sometimes those get spotted even when I haven't spotted those as commander, and my crew hasn't reported or reacted to those. And what bugs me is that well.. as I said earlier on whislist. Id wish that tagging target would make MY gunner aware of it, but it clearly isn't so. Then again.. I suppose I appreciate that even when targets are tagged... and marked.. those are not always reacted to because of how the spotting system and "Hive mind" works. Can't help but to think that this is yet one more shortcoming of the spotting system and "hive mind" Could it be that Tagging targets is not possible to some direction / orientation of vehicle because... of something invisible in vehicle somehow blocks it?
  5. There is something weird here.. it doesn't work like that for me. For me it is enough to press shift alone to mark targets and Shift + ctrl doesn't seem to do anything compared to just pressing shift alone.. and i am using default settings. Also sometimes it just doesn't work at all (to rear? Or maybe because red side is behind password?). Even when target is clearly visible and no trees are nearby blocking view with ghost branches.
  6. What's the actual difference with just pressing shift... And pressing both?
  7. Question. I remember having read something of sort that I should press both ctrl and shift? But pressing shift alone marks target? Is it necessary for designation to press both or is Shift enough? Because pressing ctrl makes tank assume waypoint on that location.
  8. ??? Oookay, here's something odd. As i purposefully tried to use this feature today exactly like that... And wasn't able to make my gunner aware of target that for sure was partially visible to him. Case 1 - Naturally he is pretty good at spotting for targets in his search cone. So i had to purposefully turn my tank to face away from target. And then to use tag function. He didn't become aware of target when i tagged it. He didn't come aware of target before I designated it with periscope. Case 2 target was danger close on gunners search area but on low grounds. Gunner was scanning on hill top. I tagged target. He didn't come aware of it before I told him to scan front. I suppose... More testing would be okay.... But there is something funny here especially when trying to designate to your own gunner. I say that because other units seemed to come aware and start to Engage designated targets even when there was barely any line of sight. : /
  9. Could we have this atleast on leopard commander periscopes. On 2A4 something like this feature exist and i often use it. It works nicely on Low magnification sights. And i think it as function for commander anyways. it is possible to right click unit icon and to designate point on terrain It would be nice to be able to do same with key. Id also love to be able to plan routes on periscope and out of hatch like is possible on double F8 view. So that i wouldn't need to go to map. This would be especially useful if I wouldn't know my location and would quickly need to be able to designate battle positions for tanks on my platoon.
  10. I wish for following. Tag function improvements (shift) levels of identification. 1 - Location of presumed obstacles bunkers, emplacements, containers and visible type. Aka... minefield abatis or so.. but it wouldn't tell lets say orientation or quality. (real or fake) 2- Actual identification would happen as it happens now.. by near touch but would include abatis and other types such as emplacements, bunkers and tank ditches etc.. 3- Tagging enemy succesfully... would reveal its location to your gunner as well, effectively telling him. "Target 2 o clock low grounds next to forest" 4- Tagging would also reveal mobile bridges "Move to" To be able to use this function from other positions as well such as periscope, vision blocks, even main gun sight.
  11. Could it be similar issue can cause as discussed here?
  12. Could it be that there is blue vehicle that is carrying a missile team of that call sign? That dublicade callsign warning seems to apply to blue side btw.
  13. I noticed the same thing on my studies. It was odd... that all off sudden traveling dustiness just disappears. Also... It seems as if there is just one kind of trengh to traveling dustiness... no transitions between as you can see from my video.
  14. Aaaargh.. we really need a converting table somewhere for these... Steelbeast vs real life values. I had always though that those were real life values. Then again... before I did recearch.. i didn't know of real life values.. so in that sence idea of SB values has served correctly. It seems that when... I took step too far I fell of from intended idea behind SB values.
  15. Your welcome. Welcome to Steelbeast community. See you on battlefields! ~ Lumi
  16. On leopard by default up arrow will do overriding / designation. But you need to release it with P (palm switch) in order for Gunner to be able to engage. Unless you're just going to engage yourself. (Viable on close distance) but for longer distances you might need to be able to use Laser rangefinder. And so once gun is pointing to target. Release palm switch and active KW? Mode. But to learn to use that I'd recommend doing tutorials or at least reading about it in wiki. https://www.steelbeasts.com/sbwiki/index.php?title=Leopard_2A5-DK Also to access in game keybind list press ALT + C and look for top left for drop down menu and search leopard 2 from list.
  17. Grumbles youre right. Good spotting... I though I used theme with 15% to 20% average dustiness but turns out that it was 51% as it seems that on mission selected there was summer theme so it was far more dusty than expected. / Field-B / 0.51 dustiness First 2 shots from Gunners AUX sight, second 2 from GPS (as its higher it suffers less from dust) Im thinking of redoing this all again to get things absolutely right and hopefully more pretty this time. >.< Even when it won't be changing whole lot. At very least i should correct info on the end of video. same still applies. 0 ground saturation maxes dust.. and 5% eliminates it even from 100% dustiness. Anyways... it was really hard for me to get to understand ground saturations affect on dustiness as I moved that value to 10% first time.. and all dust disappeared.. then I moved it to 5% and still same. For many months i didn't realize that it was 0-4% that mattered. I did recearch on this matter trying to find out what is average ground saturation... and to my surprice best sources i found were from Finland (in english) according to those IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY ground saturation on rainy season like autum goes even down what.. 40% basically... nearly standing water at that point. and on average on summers (in fields) around 4% and down to 2% when dry summer... but of course with no plants just soil.. and extreme dry season... it could go all the way to 0% In short... usually ground saturation is around 2-4% I wanted to make this video to help other scenario makers and players to have easier time to manage their dust levels. As that can be quite problematic especially if something in between on / off is desired.
  18. I wish we would get usable commander periscope to scimitar. It would be lovely for multicrew purposes. Even if just one like on warrior. It seems to be modeled already but for some reason not active?
  19. Reading I realized and remembered that one major thing that has been holding me back about finding missions to play is that once I find good looking scenario, to my liking... I have no idea of what was scenarios name. I just checked and indeed... if scenario name isn't written to briefing there is no way telling what was scenarios name but by playing it and looking from report / AAR. It would be wonderful if more of our community would take step to put name of the scenario to more places. To Briefing and perhaps even map? I think there are some rare who have done it in the past, but it is such rare thing to see. Yet it would be extremely helpful for those like me who casually browse missions one after another many at a time... So I could write name up somewhere. - From Esim, I supppose I wish that there would be way to see Mission name same way as there is to see navmesh info.. heck often enough I would love to see even map info. Also it would be awesome if we could favorite, tag or rank missions privately after opening those and seeing what mission is about. It is really hard sometimes to find good missions based on text gues.. polarity in our community is rather wast. To one... single player may mean nearly battalion. To me how I define single player is platoon or less. Also difficulty level is another thing.. What I find easy (because I made it) others find fustrating difficult. But could I take look at the scenario... and decide that I like it.. somehow favorite it. And perhaps after playing it.. or participating on it could give it hmm... stars? (would be my opinion) but perhaps... hmm... it could remind me to give same rating later on these forums. heck.. even better though far more ambitious.. would be to be able to write a review and press send button right after finishing mission. And either... having a folder on my documents for ratings where it could be copy pasted... or even better.. to be able to just press send button and that feedback would be send to corresponding download location anyways... Future Mission makers. Please write mission (even map name) to start of briefing please. ❤️
  20. I just noticed that value 50 seems to be missing from theme editor sliders I can get either 49 or 51.. but not 50. Perhaps this is design feature? (not that id need it, I just find it odd. Thats all.)
  21. Or maybe some sort ranking or review system. Because I have had that problem. Usually it's by trial and error... That i find what works for me and what not.
