  1. It all depends...  I somehow cannot see that AMOS would be modeled to Steelbeast in depth of tanks and IFVs...  if it would. Especially if it would be much like some aircraft modules on DCS...  id probably spend lot more time on that just because its something new and likely.. very different.   Also could very likely be or become crucial part of battlefield if used correctly. Trouble is...  I kind of dont even think that it would be coming. While Cv120 light tank then again, would not be that different from tanks or other cvs.. and would see it much more likely.

on the cv9030FI you can still use the barrel camera if all else fails.

you just have to set it on the vehicle info monitor...then you can use it as an aux"aux" sight ;-)

Usually yes. But on many occasions a lucky shot from enemy can disable barrel camera, on that care you can use commanders sight, or commanders aux sight.

Or in worst case scenario.. go to commanders place. - Unbutton and use wire cutter as direction pointer... and adjust shooting by observing where shots land.

  3. I did some testing...

    And

With single shot on cv9035 DK its possible to take GPS, laser range finder, thermal imager and commanders TI out with no trouble. Often even with first shot.

remember, commanders day sigh damage is not modeled so that is not possible, also GAS sight is often well hidden / covered so that takes some precise shooting with coax because KEFT doesn't seem to be able to take it out reliably

(edit on never leopards such as 2E its possible to knock out commanders peri entirely!  On other leopards or tanks that is not possible or its too near impossible.)

well going onto the cv9035dk as thats what i know most about... when using the Pene firing mode on a building with infantry in it.. nothing happens to the infantry.. in this case it was a bricked building i tested it on. over 9 rounds of ketf with the pene mode and nothing happened. second of all direct line of fire on to a leopard 2a5dk with the ketf in point mode. I could take out all the gunners sights except its emergency sight , or the commanders day sight, those things were still usable. also i think @MikeKiloPapa will agree with me here.. we carried out some testings back when we first got the cv9035dk on a dutch leopard wreck. and we managed to make alot of damage to the inside of the smoothbore barrel. but i dont know it really just feel weak to me.

Commanders day-sight damage has not been modeled on most vehicles on steelbeast. So it is not lack of performance...  that damage just is not modeled on steelbeast.

Gunners auxiliary sight - if I remember correctly should be able to be taken out...  but perhaps its modeling is in wrong place? I remember being able to take it out... but it was very difficult and I had to be experimental.

If you want test ability to blind vehicle in steelbeast...  try agaisnt cv9030 (fin)  its only vehicle that can get totally blind (with except of vision blocks... I guess because you can replace those)

  6. Ones have to remember that our BMP-2s will come in large numbers. Will you have enough missiles, and ammunition to stop them? Not to forget dismounts they carry. - And to remember of course that these things you seem to call scrap metal, often come with tank support. ;)

Believe me, now when BMP-2s and t-72s will become crewable, missions will get a whole lot more interesting when your opponents will actually react, and counter your tactics even on individual unit level.

I have no doubt of what is going to happen. Eastern equipment will take heavy casualties as before. But hopefully you guys will be sweating a lot more than before, and we can have great games and great fun.

    Mission Summary :
The IRIA has attacked into Iraq crossing and taking the city of Basra and Faw. They have seized the ports and supply routes into Iraq. Kuwait and Iraq have asked for assistance. Nato and US command have determined that for national security interests, regional allies, international supply, and open hostilities, that your force 3rd Brigade ABCT Team Iron of the 4th infantry Division will spearhead US and NATO forces. Brigade objective is to penetrate, and destroy as many forces of the front line of the IRIA 92nd Armored Division(+), push into the Division rear area, and force the 92nd to retreat out of Iraq, and away from the border. Brigade strength must be maintained at 40% of combat forces at all times, and if it drops below we will be forced to fall back to Iraq boundaries. Minimum success is to make the IRIA to return to Iranian boundaries. Moderate success is to push into Iran defeating the second line of forces, and reducing the 92nd to below 70% strength. Major success is to reduce enemy forces to 50% or less in the 92nd, and push into or beyond the third line of forces. Your brigade will be flanked to the North by 1st and 2nd brigade to keep any major flanking maneuvers from threatening that flank. Your forces will have responsibility of your Southern and Southeastern flank. You are required to “designate a force to secure that flank prior to missions, and cannot be from the previous mission. Terrain around Basra is mostly flat and sandy. The further east you travel, the more hills, and mountains you will run into. As you go, there will be increasingly more narrow avenues of approach, limiting your attack options, and allowing the enemy to better engage you.

3rd Brigade 4th Infantry Division has pressed an additional 8KM into the Iranian’s 72nd Armored Division area. The brigade has suffered heavy losses to take this terrain. Team Iron has seized three major objectives, the area radar installation, a large population center, and the area airfield. These are vital, in securing the skies for our aircraft. The brigade must push on. The brigade will continue its offensive. Intel suggests that things will only become more difficult. Intel shows elements of the 1-71-72 Armor, 2-1-72 Mechanized, and 3-1-72 Mechanized moving into the area. The arrival of these forces will bring a new dynamic to the operations, and complicate them at the same time. Be prepared for open country, and urban fighting. Commanders prepare for phase 6 of this campaign. Study your graphics, objectives, and briefings. Bring me your force requirements when ready.

But how comes that some of new uploads have reviews? O.o

Darn it wasn't new...  it was old as rome. 2008...     I though it was fresh addition that I saw on side panel on right at main forum window.

    Sorry about this.

  10. Hey. I have downloaded some files from Download section and I would like to review them to others. However, I do not seem to get access to reviews as if I would not have downloaded file at all? It seems that This site doesn't recocnize when I download file? I'm currently using Google Chrome. Is there something that I could do to be able to review, and comment on downloads that I liked?
