  1. I remember Armored Fist 3, way back then. 12-year old me could never figure out how the STAFF rounds worked though.
  2. Sounds fun, I'll see if I have time to drop by.
  3. Quick point of inquiry: The first post says game version 3.025. Is this correct?
  4. Oh yea, I actually printed that and referenced it heavily during the game. It was a great asset and very nicely done.
  5. Oh right, screenshots! LAVs from CT Eagle engaging enemy mechanized forces This one wasn't as lucky The ballsiest Javelin team in the aussie army, casually leaving an artillery barrage A few minutes later they find a mech inf platoon and some tanks! From mission 2, the reserves rushing about in some unconventional transport
  6. Oh, absolutely. We did spot and made it possible to intercept a probe by a BTR platoon, so at least we weren't completely useless Well, I could say I wish we'd played mission 1 and then mission 3 instead (which in that case would have been mission two? ) There's no doubt we wouldn't have been able to do anything at all to the enemy push though. It was just that after we'd finally gotten out of that ruddy forest (AI + trees + hills = sad puppies) in the east and were able to rush towards a defensive area the mission stopped. Yea this bit confuses me a bit, because we spotted the enemy convoy, which went BRDMs, BTRs, trucks, then some more stuff; but the only thing that went through the town itself were the three trucks, which we then killed. I understand they would be reluctant to continue through after that, but our plan was to let the lead escorts pass, then set off the ambush to kill the trucks. At least that would've let us have some forces to our south to engage as well. I'm not sure what made them do that. Heh I'm glad the mission was ended when it was. Let's just say that after the trucks were destroyed, I had time to hand over my units to Duke and drive into town to pick up my sister from a party and get back before anything had happened to them.
  7. As I said after mission 2, I wish we'd done mission 3 first, since that seemed like the most interesting. After almost nothing happening in mission 1 and 2, I just couldn't stay awake for mission 3. I had a good time, but pretty much nothing happened on the extreme right flank in mission 1. By the time we'd managed to fall back beyond delay line bravo and were setting up another BP the mission was ended. One of my civilians in mission 2 killed two trucks, but nothing else really happened in the south. The QRF were apparently content sitting outside the town and dropping some artillery on the army regulars.
  8. Signing up for "As needed" for platoon or less. I can't guarantee I'll be able to attend mission 2 and 3, though. Hopefully mission 2, but 3 might be too late for me to manage staying awake.
  9. That T90 wasn't supposed to turn towards the M72, damnit!
  10. Sorry, but I won't be able to attend either. Apologies for the last minute warning but I'm currently in a thunderstorm and my power's going out intermittently.
  11. I've talked to MDF/PaladinSix and he's okay with me taking an Abrams in his platoon.
  12. Ok, so how/where does that part of the signup take place?
  13. I'd like to try my hand at some tanking. The US CT looks a bit thin on players, so I think I'll take an Abrams. I'd prefer not to lead a platoon, if at all possible, but a track or section will be fine.
  14. The game states the available Sagger is the AT-3D, which is SACLOS.
