I remember that the Air Force folks in Saigon were always worried about a tourist attack.

The whole issue of whether the troops have the best or latest equipment is a contrived issue to me. As I recall, nobody, and that includes the phony media gave a big harry squat about what equipment we had or didn't have in Vietnam. And we had some real POS we had to live or die with.

There is a new movie coming out last week in December called "Charlie's War." It's about our local congressman, Charles Wilson, and his actions during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. His involvement makes him a legend in these parts. He . . . is proclaimed to be the one single person responsible for the ultimate fall of the Soviet Union. However, his meddling in Afghanistan ultimately lead to the rise of the Taliban and 9/11/01. Folks overlook that. Get the book. See the movie TK

Jester_UK and BlackDeath, After searching through the Mod Forum, I found the answer. It's the SKY_d1.bmp that's the default. That's the one that has to be backed up before replacing it in the default sky folder. Thanks for the help.

How do I change the sky to another one? Do I just copy and paste it into the correct mod folder. I tried that but it didn't seem to work like installing a new skin.

Success after two attempts! The password CodeMeter is case sensitive. I used codemeter on the first attempt and got a failure message. So type in CodeMeter with the letters C and M capitalized.

Do I Start the CodeMeter server as a service or application?

I just finished off a bottle of Hofbrau from Munich, and I've got a six-pack of Moosehead, Labatt Blue, and Samual Adams Lager ready to go when I finish up the Hofbrau. However, I still say that drinking Guiness is what makes the Brits talk funny.

Read the writing on the six-back of Salvator (or the bottle lable) and you will find that it is a Malt Liquor and not really a beer at all. I bought a six-pack several months ago and found that it's not drinkable. I drank one bottle and poured the rest down the kitchen sink.

My all time favorite was Thurn and Taxis Beer from Regensburg, Germany in the flip top bottles with the rubber gaskets.

I've made my own themes for summer, winter, etc., and load them into scenarios if I can. Some default and user created scenarios use themes with thick ground clutter and cover that they would choke down any computer. And even some trees selected for use cause FPS hits more than others. Carefully select the type of trees you use. Reducing ground clutter and cover to a density of 9 and size to 30 or less makes a vast improvement. Getting rid of the boulders and reducing visibility to 2000 - 2500 meters helps greatly. I guess I could up load my themes if anyone wants to use them.

Don't change too much. After the update I'm getting 35 - 50 FPS and runs smooth as silk.
