  1. Zombies. They're in VBS2, so I know the impending apocalypse is real, and governments take training for it seriously.
  2. Yskonyn, the mouse is the way to go. You're exactly right about needing to transition back to the mouse anyway. Sticks have miles of sloppy travel and lack precision compared to the mouse. Fight the enemy, not the interface.
  3. Sticking to the more doable, I'm looking for an M1A1 SA. The SEPv2 may be a tall order, but I'd at least like an A1 from this millenium. One with the stabilized CWS. Throw in vehicles crews, civilians/insurgents and multibple sides, and I'll be pretty content for a long time. Oh, and a proper Stryker.
  4. Abrams: needs to be held continuously, or control reverts to the gunner. Guessing it's same for Leo.
  5. You're probably engaging a different target than the TC's calling out.
  6. Thanks V, you caught me just as I was self-correcting.
  7. Hmmm. or is it... Anyway, the only other thing I've immediately noticed is the lack of texture on the inside of the T-72's gunner's hatch.
  8. The M1A1's GAS reticle rotates while changing elevation. Noticed on the gunnery range.
  9. Very excited about the crewable T-72. All I need now are multiple sides, civilians, and insurgents. Oh, and an M1A1SA. Please.
  10. T-series tanks are desireable because they're widely fielded. Iconic, even.
  11. Sure. The T-72 has been a work in progress for years (with a 3D interior already revealed). The sudden appearance of another uncontracted vehicle suggests there's time on e-Sim's hands. Ergo the T-72 has either been completed or sidelined. Either is news.
  12. Still curious: If we're getting an extra-curricular crewable tank, it begs the question, is the T-72 complete?
  13. Ponies is the best suggestion yet. No ponies, no bueno. On a less important note, I'd love a hint about crewable American vehicles. I'm hoping we get one from the current millenium. I think a save plan feature, civilians and multiple sides will push the sim forward furthest. Next comes introducing interesting AI vehicles (T-90M comes to mind), closely followed by making an OPFOR tank crewable. 3D crew/infantry/civilians would be nice, but it's at the bottom of my list. Modest, no?
  14. The FEP is, for all practical purposes, an M1A1SA.
  15. Wow. Crewable C2 confirmed? Does this mean the T-72 is coming as well, or was there a shift in priorities? Was the C2 commissioned by the UK, or was it an independent project?
  16. My solution: No stick at all. I'm a fan of crisp response from the mouse. Perfect consistency during traverse, no dead zones, and no miles of sloppy travel from a stick. Also, immediate access to menues. The enemy is fight enough. You don't need to fight the interface too.
  17. The FBCB2 on an SA is mounted on the right turret wall, next to the TC.
  18. Wow. I was just hoping to hear about the feasibility of a modern M1A1. <-A1. Any chance of crewable 21st century American vehicles in the next update? Thanks!
  19. Just thought I'd drag this up again... In all seriousness, the M1A1SA seems (I know, perhaps deceptively) like an easy ungrade that will go a long way toward bringing Americans into this millenium, and some parity between the M1s and Leos. Any thoughts?
  20. I have a far more modest request: bring the M1A1 up to the SA standard. Not even the Iraqis or National Guard use the previous-millenium model in PE.
  21. Can we expect to see new, non-playable OPFOR vehicles in future patches (T-90A)?
  22. I hope you'll keep faith. For all my wants, the fact that Nils maintains contact with the community gives me hope. Imagine depending on Ubisoft... These guys deserve our support.
  23. Anyone have the expertise to update the SEP wiki entry? I'd love to see the SEPs armor diagramed out.
