What are some of the performance improvements we can expect with the X64 version over the X32? Smoother frame rate? Better pathfinding?

Tutorial GunneryF covers this topic if any other new players need help. Oddly, I was doing it correctly, but had to F1 back off the GPS sight then get back on it after selecting the proper ammo type (hotkey) before I could get close with the HEAT rounds. Not sure if this was a fluke, operator error or some kind of bug in the GunneryF tutorial that caused my HEAT rounds to overshoot targets until I came off the scope (GPS) and went back on it. No biggie. I'm going to start playing scenarios to get some experience.

Looks like we are good for another year. You're welcome. :clin: I'm happy with the call too. I would rather have a few hundred people who are active and know what they are are doing to help me get up to speed with this simulation, than thousands of screaming kids that use Acronyms I don't understand.

Awesome, thanks, I would expect the computer to know what kind of round is loaded, but I'm very new to this whole thing. I'm playing through the tutorials now. Very concise and easy to follow.

Don't get me wrong. I am a proud owner of a Lifetime license with Dongle and the small niche community here is the best. Love you guys long time. :clin: Have the owners of this software considered selling licenses on STEAM? Our community would explode with new members, for better and for worse. And the developers (Ssnake? and others) would become very wealthy by Monday. Will this game be made available through STEAM at some point in the future? Do you like money? :bigsmile:

At the Range with my M1A2, I have targets slowly driving left and right at about 1500 yards. My Laser Finder is reading a good range at about 1800 yards. When I shoot, my HEAT rounds are splashing at about 1000 yards. Well short of the target. Is the Laser finder not feeding into the computer? Is there something about the HEAT round that I need to change to get an accurate firing solution?

That's what I thought too! The Scenario said Challenger and I was like....? Leopard? Challenger? I don't know the difference. So,If I am wrong at least I am consistently wrong. :bigsmile:

Striker has produced a recreation of the first 3D Tank sim for PC/Sega Genesis single player campaign missions and it's very well done, Scott. New member here. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I'm a retired US Navy Submariner who has always been interested in Armored Warfare as well. My first taste of Tank Sim combat was M1 Tank Platoon II and played it until it stopped working with newer computer O/S. Steel Beasts Pro PE 3.0 has replaced that old dog and it's a lot of fun. Some feedback for the site: The Steel Beasts 3.002 download comes with a Codemeter version that is incompatible with the month-to-month license I bought to try this software before I drop $150 on it. I had to go to the codemeter website to download a newer version. If you added this newer version to the next Steel Beasts, it might save some headaches for new players. Quick question: When I am looking down the gunner's sight, I want to cycle zoom with a keystroke instead of pulling my head back out of the gunsight and doing it manually. Is there a key or key combination that cycles Near/Far on the gunner's sight? Is there a key that does the same for Thermal on/off? Love the site, great game, let's have some fun in multiplayer.
