  1. Been around since the Iraqi War. How would that be implemented? A mod or in a version release?
  2. This vehicle has been out since 2001. Fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. According to resources, there's over 4000 of these converted from the A2 version. With optics like this, SB should really add this to the inventory
  3. I think watching a missile from launch to impact would make for some excellent options for video recording. Rotaraneg would have a field day with this.
  4. I didn't think about it until the AAR, but here's the few I could manage. I know it's just a game, but when I start firing TOW's...SOMEBODY'S GONNA BURN!!!! The problem was that things got real close and personal
  5. I tried to search this in the Wiki but couldn't find any answers. So here it is: Dismount infantry. Fires off their ATGM rounds. Loads back up in the APC/IFV. When they dismount again, will they get reloads for their ATGMs and small arms ammo? If so, how long does it take to fully reload? If not, then will standing next to a supply truck do the trick? In MOST cases, infantry doesn't last long enough for that to require a reloading but sometimes, it becomes necessary.
  6. According to the stats, the A3 version has much better electronics, slightly better armor and a few other goodies to boot.
  7. According to the stats, the M2A3 has better targeting systems and better optics such as GPS, etc. Also slightly better armor protection.
  8. Would anyone please introduce this to the game? It would make for a wonderful upgrade for the modern US forces
  9. Gonna gang up on a man eh? I hope that arrangement of historical enemies turn on each other before they roll out on us! No? They're coming anyway? FRAG YOU WITH MY TOWS!!!! :gun:
  10. Got frustrated. Going to start this one all over, but on a much smaller scale and in simpler terms. Bit off way more than I can chew. Now I know my limits when it comes to scenario designing :c:
  11. Please make more! Especially single player scenarios! About 80% of my SB time is spent playing alone instead of multiplayer mode, I really don't enjoy spending time to modify a scenario except for changing units, things like that. I am also All-American, and enjoy using our homegrown stuff as well. Though, maybe I should look into using the God-Tanks (Leos).
  12. Sounds good. What I have done was eliminate the Green and Orange sides and combined them into Blue and Red so I can play offline. That has been the furthest development I have accomplished. Seems like others are working on this, so I will place this project on a back burner for now.
  13. Haven't seen that many pieces on such a narrow map in a while. Another ten more minutes and Blue would have won. Red was nowhere near blue HQ. I am happy that off board ammunition is not a factor, otherwise I would have never been able to fire off the 49 fire missions as I had. Being the FO is perhaps more strenuous than manning the front line crew positions :cool3: Nevertheless, fire support is a crucial part of the game. One cannot appreciate it enough unless you don't have it and need it. Still sucks going up against the God-Tanks (Leos). Rather faceoff against Russian stuff anyday, that includes the T-90s with their ridiculously long ranged missiles. Now about next week's TGIF...
  14. "Maybe one day I will make a NATO = quality, Warsaw Pact = Quantity version." I second the motion :cool3: Officially for the record, I am NOT going to be Commander tonight. Next week perhaps. I need to improve on my 0-2 TGIF record :clin:
  15. Wanted the insurgents to look like...well, insurgents. I used the "Afghan Taliban" infantry look option. Just one problem: they are not shown with the weapons they are armed with. I believe the solution is to use "Red Condition, Arm if...'this' unit is anywhere." Will this work? Or should I just make do with Russian-looking enemies?
  16. I just want the infantry. It's what I am best at in this game. Actually, I'm one hell of a spotter/FO. I average just under sixty fire missions per scenario and they are usually spot on
  17. Now comes the hard part: the work!
  18. Did you give "my" Brad infantry the NLAW's or Javelins? I don't mind having only 2 total shots per rifle section. But unless Blue side is going up against nothing but BRDM's, blue is going to need something that actually works against tanks with ONE SHOT...two at the most with some decent range. I implore you for the modifications...PLEASE!
  19. Ninety percent of my time on SB is spent playing on my own. To do so, I usually reconfigure a mission in the mission editor. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not (usually password protected). In order to add in that element of 'SURPRISE' on myself, I want to have OPFOR units to randomly locate in a scenario. The problem is: how to do it. Question: does this work in the "Spawn if..." option or is there some other method available I didn't see in the Wiki?
  20. So, if only TGIF missions count, I am 0-2. I have work to do :men_ani:
  21. Not quite obsessed, but I'm going to win one of these TGIF scenarios if it's the last thing my PC does!
  22. Maybe I should remain a grunt instead of a leader. Tried CO position on DOW and TANKS. Didn't do so well. Not that I'm making excuses (actually, yes I am ), but I didn't have any time to prepare any battle plans for the missions. So, as of Monday, I am 2-5. Really bad. Management is going to fire me if I don't do better and soon. Perhaps I should take everyone's advice and play on the same side as Volcano, Assassin and Rotar :c: Found out the hard way the devastation of the Reflex missiles. 5K range!?!?!?!?!?! Yikes! And I will NEVER EVER EVER play against those super Leo's again!!!!! Still, fun playing SB
  23. Nationalist forces must retrain their tank crews :cool3: ONE T-62 tank gave the green side a smackdown!!!
