  1. Thank you for the recommendations received on my issue. Through a likely combination of dumb luck and overcoming ignorance, I did get SB Pro PE 4.250 to finally open. I probably took the hard way trying to resolve the error message that likely will make some of the more tech savvy players cringe or laugh (or a combination on both) as internet searches outside of this forum offered little to no suggestions. Ssnake, I will send you an email outlining the approach I took as requested. I uninstalled, reinstalled (this time I did not use the Bundle installer), and eventually isolated what I think the problem (aka Nahimic2) was in Task Manager Background Processes. I have to disable/end 3 processes associated with Nahimic2. Nahimic2UILauncher, Nahimic2 32-bit, Nahimic2 64-bit. If I do not do this to all 3 Nahimic2 processes, SB will not load.
  2. I did a quick search of the Support Forum to see if my issue was already answered and was unable to find this. Basically when initiating SB Pro PE, this pop up appears: Error! Failed to initialize COM library (0x80010106)! My system is an MSI GT73VR 6RF Titan Pro WIN10 with MacAfee AV. I recall having this problem a couple of years ago and do not recall exactly how it was resolved. The error message appeared after I upgraded to the newest version 4.250 last night. When it first appeared, I restarted the computer and was able to run SB PRO PE last night after the restart. This evening I am unable to get past the error message (restarting does not fix the issue as it did last night). Any suggestions on how to eliminate this error are greatly appreciated.

  4. Daskal, All of the current gunnery information is considered for Official Use Only, meaning that it is not to be shared freely in hardcopy or electronic media. Only those with a need to know (military or government employees) would have access to it. The manuals that are available on the internet in many cases are no longer considered current.

    fast food anyone?

Any chance you will be adding in more restaurants? I've got a co-worker who is crazy over the Whataburger chain (along with LJS). Looks like you have gone and given many of us a case of the munchies...
  6. I have no problem with paying for an upgrade. As many veterans of the SB community have already pointed out, the updates that have been provided to the community to date have been free. Last time I checked I had to buy a new game each time EA Sports put out a new title which by in large was just an updated version of the previous year with a little more functionality. To expect an umlimited number of freebies to continue is rather unrealistic IMO. Dealer31
  7. Good discussion here. Just want to point out that the 2d Infantry Division did not jump from the M60 series to the M1A1. I went to Korea in the summer of 1990 when the M1-IP series was introduced into Korea with 1-72 Armor and 2-72 Armor at Camp Casey. Didn't talk to any of the guys at Garry Owen to know if the Cav received the M1-IP then as well. The M1A1 was introduced into Korea in 1995. Dealer31
  8. Two hours to repair a GPS is probably more than generous. If the GPS itself actually needs replaced, its going to take the greater part of the day to replace it. A new GPS unit is not something that is carried on any of the company maintenance vehicles either, so any repair/replacement of a GPS is going to rely on higher levels of maintenance in most cases. Waiting on the part to be delivered to the maintenance team is what usually takes the longest amount of time. So if you do manage to get a damaged GPS repaired in two hours, consider it very fortunate indeed.
