While we are at V5 Arty: HX smoke aka slow smoke but long lasting WP quick smoke/ Fire effect and weapons effect Super HE Super short delay HE so it buries itself 2m down then exploding so Trenches collapses. HE timed delay (Airburst) and proximity (Airburst) Assign support units to specific units so mortars are firing only for INF and 155 fire for all RCH 155 like fire on the move APCs with generic Nemo like turret just like the generic RVS Sounding / Radar location radar K239 Chunmoo, Puls, Atmos 2000 (8x8) with HIMARS like guidance aka 1 rocket 1 hit Tanks that fire generic loitering munitions APCs that fire Brimstone like generic ammo CV90 with spike ER etc... or that french one CV9035 where you can change gun to 50 mm like IRL CV9035 with mast like CV9035NL MIDlife update K2PL Autonomous combat drones for Tanks, IFV, INF Leopard 2A7, Leopard 2A8 with variants Boxer Heavy weapons carrier STRV 122 upgrade to fire control so it can mark 10 targets and then fire at all 10 (with auto tracking) without the gunner needing to reacquire the targets (Generic version off course) like irl A map direction and range tool Making a Unit template design function that's independent of callsign template Aka drag all the units stuff into it in the right numbers assign callsigns to each unit connect them with drag and drop with no restrictions because callsign and unit id are 2 fields aka unique ID pr unit/Man So we can regroup units after losses and a tanker from 1 tank can hop out of a damaged or crew damaged tank and replenish another tank on the fly if they are close or they can do ground recon without the whole vehicle Also let COs change callsign on the fly as needed and/or regroup multiple units Also in that unit template you can assign vehicles where they are suppose to be in a formation with all the different formations and decide which formation types they are trained in the use off Also make it possible to reload tanks from sister tanks or a damaged tank After seeing what arty is doing in Ukraine a upgrade to that weapon seem just a bit relevant maybe an idea just something to consider Server without a graphics interface that just runs the game like an app you tell it which scen and a start button and the rest is controlled by the designated DM. I have had the same experience , but when you run a big scen sometimes stuff you haven't tested because you are only one and somebody does something completely unexpected when you later play, and then after you can't repeat it so it just goes into the pile of unexplained things. And when you have red, blue and green sides its real hard to test all combinations or figure out why it sometimes does what it does Also i try to avoid assigning and code to a specific person like the plaque because then people that have my scens can use their own callsign templates and change stuff a lot easier MD

Hi Grenny With baddies on both sides of a very narrow corridore and very flat terrain with not much hiding that is a very risky undertaking if the enemy is placeing 2-4 missile teams they can shut down that corridor without breaking to much sweat(And as stated in the orders they have already done so before), if you add INF with RPGs a couble of tanks in the strong points and villages then we will be desimated real quick. It would almost be better to go through the woods (1-2 kms with 2 possible routes maybe even 3) and fan out if it wassent for the river but there are 3 bridges so maybe 😉 But terrain is ok but it is indian country in a very very narrow corridor so a very risky proposition MD

FYI How Denmark's Army Uses Light Unarmored Vehicles for Reconnaissance_Armor_Jul-Aug 1991.pdf A little inspiration with combined arms at Platoon level , the only missing thing from combined arms is Airpower/Engr and that is only because its not integral in the PLT. You have Tanks, Motorised Recon + Scouts , Mech INF (Scouts) , Arty (MMT) , command relay in the same PLT and the PLT Leader job was rated as one of the hardest positions too fill as a junior officer.   9. There have just arrived 2 AT SQNs with 3 Centurion each So if it was because you couldn't get into a Tank then there are now 8 unassigned Tanks MD

That was corrected a long time ago i made the test scen originally for later so had the test made just for the CO making MRK plan overlays do the recon etc... and for everybody to see if they could load the map. I know it used to be AT 4 but that's a couple of iterations ago. I have also change the cammo now i hope 😉 But keep the input cumming i am by no means good at this. MD

  12. Thanks The scout teams have CG 84mm even the small 2 man teams on the GD 300 and the uniforms year i am a noob at setting those i will fairly admit, as my excuse it was always Swordie that did that kind of stuff. MD
