Have you tried to calculate the kinetic energy, the Crew wont be able to do anything after that hit and if the round then explodes close to the tank which its suppose to do it will as you say not penetrate but the crew will be unable to fight anymoree (This is offcourse with the 0,2 sec delay on the shell). The Danish artillery scholl tested that when it still existed and a arty shell closer then 1 meter and the pressure on the crash dummies would be in most cases debilitating or worse

Who Thought you that arty only have an min effective range of 2 km Nato artillery can fire from 0 to 30-40 km if 155mm depending on type out to 1500 m its most often direct fire. A 155mm shell weighing 52 kgs hitting a tank at that range with over 900m/s and that tank is out of action (Same speed as a 12,7mm HMG round or better, but the HMG round only weighs 13 gram)

Hi 12Alfa There are 77km from Billund Airport to Kallemærsk hede about an hour in car and its only doable if you rent a car which is very expensive in DK with publich transport your would be in the closest village at 1330 (01:30 PM dk time) and then a taxi out to where the show is But renting a car and no delays you would miss and hour or 2 of the static exebition. And of course the company of all the germans, Danes , Swedes on the evening of the 25th and of course the famous Pølse and hopefully a beer or 3. There might even be a småkage (Cookie) and we would prolly be very hard to find there where 25000 people last year and we looked for the germans but diddent find them. Naaa its more fun in Leo 1A5DK1 i dont think esim is going to model a tank there only was 50 made in total even though it was a very succesfull upgrade And there are scout platonns and sections without the M41dk1 or the leo1A5DK1 MD

It might be so but without knowing your Motherboard speed and your configuration of the os there are just to many variables, and i don't want use time to discuss it. Why it performs good or bad can be as simple as how you have setup your Page file which drive its at and a lot of other parameters i just pointed out that for the overall performance of a pc its not the cpu any longer that's the bottleneck also you should look at the speed of the motherboard aka how fast it is able to transfer the data from the cpu to the other components of the pcs (RAM,Graphics,HD). It can be things like how and when your page file was setup and if any, if you have set to dynamic growth which by the way is default and is the wrong way to do it. I can go on and on with this subject but i feel this is beside the point i was trying to make. That a modern cpu I5/I7(Quad) or the equivalent amd issent as important as it used to be like back in the days of 286/386/486/Pentium days (The cpus nowadays are simply not fully utilized by most programs, and that includes Steelbeast) its other places that are bottlenecks. As long as its a quad core or better it dossent really matter as the cpu issent the bottleneck in modern computers, the RAM, speed of the motherboard is much more important as well as the graphics card and the real kicker is the hard drive. I have 2 SSDs 1 for my OS and 1 for the page file. Best regards MD
