Mission Summary :
Battalion size mission consisting of 1 recon company-, 1 CAV Squadron, 1 Armor Company, and 1 breaching company.The current situation has stabilized. NATO forces have halted the Russian advance. Current intelligence shows elements of the 4th Tank Guard set in defensive positions to our East. NATO forces are to move North, breach the obstacle zone, recon/movement to contact to the Southeast, in order to threaten the enemy flank, and force a retreat of the enemy.

1) SITUATION:

a) Enemy:
    Elements of the 4th Tank Guard consisting of 2+ companies of T-72, 3 companies of BMP-2, and one company of infantry support, are conducting defensive flank operations. Intel shows possible obstacles protecting their flank, and are supported by up to 4 batteries of artillery. 

b) Own:
              TF Hawk Combined NATO forces consisting of US, and German forces are set to conduct recon, obstacle clearance, and movement to contact, in order to collapse the enemy flank, and force a withdraw.

Team Iron Campaign Phase IV by Cougar11  
 

This scenario is a simulation and does not have any political message.

Mission Summary :
The IRIA has attacked into Iraq crossing and taking the city of Basra and Faw. They have seized the ports and supply routes into Iraq. Kuwait and Iraq have asked for assistance. Nato and US command have determined that for national security interests, regional allies, international supply, and open hostilities, that your force 3rd Brigade ABCT Team Iron of the 4th infantry Division will spearhead US and NATO forces. Brigade objective is to penetrate, and destroy as many forces of the front line of the IRIA 72nd Armored Division(+), push into the Division rear area, and force the 72nd to retreat out of Iraq, and away from the border. Brigade strength must be maintained at 40% of combat forces at all times, and if it drops below we will be forced to fall back to Iraq boundaries. Minimum success is to make the IRIA to return to Iranian boundaries. Moderate success is to push into Iran defeating the second line of forces, and reducing the 72nd to below 70% strength. Major success is to reduce enemy forces to 50% or less in the 72nd, and push into or beyond the third line of forces. Your brigade will be flanked to the North by 1st and 2nd brigade to keep any major flanking maneuvers from threatening that flank. Your forces will have responsibility of your Southern and Southeastern flank. You are required to “designate a force to secure that flank prior to missions, and cannot be from the previous mission. Terrain around Basra is mostly flat and sandy. The further east you travel, the more hills, and mountains you will run into. As you go, there will be increasingly more narrow avenues of approach, limiting your attack options, and allowing the enemy to better engage you.

92nd Armor Division IRIA has pushed into Iraq, and poised to continue into Kuwait. The reduction of US/NATO forces in the region have made it prime for takeover and the IRIA is going to fill the vacuum of the region. 1 Brigade 1st Battalion 92nd Armor is defending the major population center in the area. They have brought in the remaining mechanized forces south of the river, commandos, and a large amount of infantry.

DOW Fulda Attack Phase II by Cougar11

This scenario is a simulation and does not have any political message.

Mission Summary :

2ACR has pushed to clear avenues of approach. 2AD follows and assumes the attack from AA Jump Point to destroy a Russian Battalion sized element. 2ACR encountered heavy resistance. They are set in a screen along a line 8 Kilometers to the North. Defend the screen line with Alpha 2ACR. Delta Company 2AD will screen the main force to the front, and breach or bypass as needed. Bravo and Charlie Companies will follow and support up to AA Jump Point. It is up to the commander of 2AD to decide how to attack north. Our forces have 140 minutes to complete the attack.

This scenario is a simulation and does not have any political message.

Mission Summary :

1. Donovian Military Forces (DMF) have established a defensive perimeter around the city of Razish. They are employing an armored force, consisting of T-90 tanks and BMP-2's, with dismounts. They are also using the local insurgent forces to em-place IEDs in highly traveled areas.

Penetrate the Donovian lines, and seize the bridges North of Razish in preparation for a follow-on attack by friendly forces. You have a Special Forces, ODA reconnaissance team available. They have the ability to call for air strikes.

Nato and US command have determined that for national security interests, regional allies, international supply, and open hostilities, that your force 3rd Brigade ABCT Team Iron of the 4th infantry Division will spearhead US and NATO forces. Brigade objective is to penetrate, and destroy as many forces of the front line of the IRIA 72nd Armored Division(+), push into the Division rear area, and force the 72nd to retreat out of Iraq, and away from the border. Brigade strength must be maintained at 40% of combat forces at all times, and if it drops below we will be forced to fall back to Iraq boundaries. Minimum success is to make the IRIA to return to Iranian boundaries. Moderate success is to push into Iran defeating the second line of forces, and reducing the 72nd to below 70% strength. Major success is to reduce enemy forces to 50% or less in the 72nd, and push into or beyond the third line of forces. Your brigade will be flanked to the North by 1st and 2nd brigade to keep any major flanking maneuvers from threatening that flank. Your forces will have responsibility of your Southern and Southeastern flank. You are required to “designate a force to secure that flank prior to missions, and cannot be from the previous mission. Terrain around Basra is mostly flat and sandy. The further east you travel, the more hills, and mountains you will run into. As you go, there will be increasingly more narrow avenues of approach, limiting your attack options, and allowing the enemy to better engage you.

Your objective in Phase I is to make a spearhead into the enemy forces as they are reorganizing. Push to Phase Line Titanium, and continue on when able. The overall objective is to take the forward airbase, major population centers, and supply/resources.
