    Yes. I thought the USMC deployed to establish a bridgehead, for follow on forces (army), or similar tactics. This has been their history, except for a few times when the army was a bit tied down fighting, and unable to take over. But yes, wait and see.

    Well, if you require your force to deploy quickly, dropping a 70+ tank that get there by ship is a move in the right direction. I think a "watch and shoot" sop is best, lets see how this proceeds down the road., And the "road", has turns, and bumps on it .:)

    This can be done by setting you folder to date, I do this already before opening SB. Many projects under way, I need to see what I've worked on last, this method is a time saver. Scenario folder open while running SB editor.

    I think it's keeping their tank expertise, and workforce. Also , they would have a lot in country that would be faster, and cost less to upgrade (and export said upgrades) , than buy new if they could,and as Snake said , a low probability of getting them soon, and for less that their upgrades.

    Not your usual M113. Drivers position in M113A2 vs M113A3 TLAV. Quite an upgrade!

    Crest clearing drill will do that also, all gunners/CC/Drivers are trained in this method as part of their gunnery course The 1CAD had a few trg sessions on this very drill a while ago, practice,practice,practice., ......ah those were the days.............
