  1. Kanium TS is updated and works with the latest version, if anyone needs somewhere to communicate for a session :-)
  2. I mean this in the nicest of ways mate: Go outside, get some fresh air. You are more wound up than a clock-spring dealing with its first erection.
  3. Is it not a bit much expecting any given person to ask your permission, in order that they be able to record Kanium SB sessions? Is it not easier for you to assume that there is always a chance that people will record? If you really insist, is it not better that you arrange for your own request to the participants of any given mission and hope they agree to it? Would it really make any difference if we, Kanium, added a "NOTICE: This session may or may not be recorded" to every single mission? Or would this result in your absence and therefor render the notice ineffective/pointless? Understand what I mean: You are, in the grand scheme of things, an anomaly in the community insofar as needing these special conditions in order to play and this is not a criticism, as I hope you will agree, it is simply an observable fact; thus it seems to me that the only proper thing to do is for you to make the effort, as opposed to everyone else. - Hatt, Co-founder of Kanium
  4. There's very little about Kanium that I am not in some way responsible for, but short answer: Yes sir. Cuddle? :3
  5. The Kanium Discord is publicly open to anyone, without the need to join Kanium, or do anything for Kanium or owe us anything. Just come and hang out with other people that like SB. If you need help setting up Discord so that it leaves you alone until you open it, I can help you. If you need help understanding Discord, I can help you, if you need anything at all in the context of Discord I will happily volunteer to help you. www.kanium.eu <-- Our frontpage with an invitation button on it that doesn't even require that you install Discord in order for you to join in. As for our "juggernaut", thank you. It sounds like a compliment. We are not actively trying to be in anyone's way, we just want to have fun and offer people to join us. - DrHat, Co-founder of Kanium
  6. Just ask the forum to reset your password http://www.kanium.eu/phpBB3/ucp.php?mode=sendpassword
  7. I checked the logs and there are no errors with our registration process. Please check your junk mail and also make sure you are checking the right email ( sarm_123@hotmail.es ) If that still doesn't work, tell me and I'll see what I can do.
  8. Everybody has access to the Kanium site, all you have to do is register in order to make a post. The only reason for that, is because otherwise the site would be spammed by bots.
  9. Hmm. As I said, I hadn't realised this was important to you.
  10. I hadn't realised this was important to you, apologies. That would make it potentially inaccurate, but not contextually irrelevant. He, Nike, was thanking the primary organisers of Kanium for their efforts and the resulting growth of those efforts, in a thread about Kanium. This seems, at least to me, appropriate.
  11. This is rather contextually irrelevant, wouldn't you agree?
  12. Thank you for removing the ban from Major Duck, shame about the thread though. Oh well, as you say, the UI is faulty and mistakes were made - these things can happen. Besides that, I think Kanium would find it welcome for proper justice to be done to those that are truly deserving in this case. It would also be good if you could trouble shoot Major Duck's ongoing restrictions and finish it off with a direct apology to Major Duck. Nothing fancy, just a re-establishment of all things nice and just, so that we may continue our experiences together. - DrHat, Co-founder of Kanium
  13. Oh oh oh! I know! Lets BE the Russian and like..take over Afghanistan!
  14. I can certainly understand the wish for "something different", but if nobody knows that sort of thing you're looking for (even in vague terms) then the chance of it happening seems rather slim to me. But I absolutely don't understand what difference it makes on who actually does it.
  15. Fair enough, but are you just wanting other people than "the usual suspects" doing an MP-OP ? Or do you have some specific wishes?
  16. Seems the explanation is very simple: http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbwiki/index.php?title=Starter_Pack&diff=12595&oldid=11799 Thanks Sean!
  17. Fixing the link and then looking at me confused is a strange thing to do. I still have the HTML loaded into my browser and the link for VU's in general in the Starter Pack is: http://www.steelbeasts.com/virtual_units until you just changed it. To see what I mean, simple google: http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbwiki/index.php?title=Starter_Pack Click the small arrow next to the top link and select "Cached", which will show you the page before you just changed it. Alternative check this link: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:XZT58vLep5YJ:www.steelbeasts.com/sbwiki/index.php%3Ftitle%3DStarter_Pack But good thing that you fixed it in any case.
  18. On the matter of the Starter Pack, your Virtual Units link is broken, probably because the forum was upgraded - maybe an excellent chance to re-create it and update it. Just thought I'd let you know
  19. The irony is not lost on me But in some sense I would say 'No', I advertised Kanium in a SteelBeast thread on the SteelBeast forum..that's not what I meant. I meant advertising SteelBeasts in other places - whether that is advertising of a VU or SB in general is not important.
  20. As I said in another post, I think that the WoT discussions are the way that they are (poor), because of the game..not because of the people in it. The game is naturally geared to foster those sort of discussions (and that sort of behaviour) and I think quite a number of those people, will change their tone and conversation-style once they are out of the WoT environment. Quite simply, if you don't do the "WoT"-style of discussion in their WoT section, you will never make any headway. I think there are is a lot to gain out there, it's "just" a matter of promoting SteelBeasts as best we can and in that way, find the people who would have a much better time with us, than WoT..or even both! I mean think about it, given enough promotion and organisation, we can make sure we have more players AND that esim gets richer, which might (only might) get us more of the stuff we want in the long run for the game (though e-sim could of course spend their money elsewhere if they have other priorities)
  21. +1 good sir! 100% agree (though the magic rounds thing wouldn't happen anyway..we're trying to get people to play SB, not World of Steelbeasts - they either get on board with the game as it is, or they don't :P)
