Very likely scenario is set on some old map, which wasn't georeferenced; in such case in v.4.1 coordinates for the map's SW corner are automatically set to Oceanic Pole of inaccessibility, which is located in southern part of Pacific Ocean and this conflicts with time zone settings in scenario. You need to open scenario in the mission editor and then adjust local time zone(UTC offset) in 'Mission date and time settings' dialog.
  2. 1) Ability to set 'Embark if...' and 'Retreat back if...' conditions is available in mission editor and during the planning phase only, and those options cannot be accessed during execution phase(e.g. after green 'Start' button was clicked). This is how it works for about 15 years or so now. 2) If you need to coordinate movement of dismounts and their vehicle during execution phase, then waypoint, where troops are are going to dismount, should not have tactics set, and route originating from this waypoint should have slow speed enabled. If speed is higher than 'slow', then vehicles will ignore dismounts; and the same thing happens if waypoint has some battle position tactics enabled and user gives command 'Proceed' or 'Resume route' to a vehicle.
  3. Quite opposite. This switch sets minimal lase range threshold, because in particular case of LRF relying on first return logic this is the only way to eliminate false returns caused by ground clutter and different masks(objects). E.g., if this switch set to '1200', then any returns closer than 1200 meters will be ignored; if it is set to '1800' , then everything below 1800 meters will be ignored... and in default '0' position it allows returns within 500-3000meters or, in favorable visibility conditions- 500-4000meters.

    Lemur

Acoustic shot detection system, which slews RWS on to source of incoming fire It literally means 50x spotting scope. Please note that 50x scope is not zeroed, and cannot be used as a sight. This option reflects certain changes made to Lemur; for more details please check pg.7 of v.3.0 release notes: https://www.esimgames.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/SBProPE_3_Release_Notes.pdf
  6. This issue is fixed in current beta version.
  7. Those are legit questions, and 90$ are still a considerable sum of money, if purchase of computer game is considered.
  8. We prefer not to disclose our plans, since they are subject to change. As a rule of the thumb, we are announcing new features when release of major update or upgrade is close enough. Yes, if vehicle has interior modelled, then some of elements are usually made interactive, depending of data available and some other considerations. Well, our AI is semi-automatic, so it relies on user-defined control logic to operate in realistic way. On its own AI could handle simple things like, for example, taking cover or adjusting position to engage target of opportunity.
  9. Here is link to their website, but please be aware, that currently there is no english language version: https://syberion.tech/ P.S. My strictly personal gut feeling is whispering to wait till first series production devices show up.
  10. Well, it depends... Nominally your computer more or less fits minimal system requirements listed here: https://www.esimgames.com/?post_type=elementor-popup&p=1160 ...But in practical terms all depends of your graphics settings, terrain detail distance rendering settings, scale of scenarios and many other variables. Also , when it comes to gaming, everyone has his own zone of comfort... Probably the best option is to pick 1 month time-limited license and give it a try before making more costly decisions. P.S. Please make sure that you are running 64-bit version of Windows.
  11. Ok, thanks. So it happens in WAN sessions only, got it
  12. With Marder everything is pretty much straightforward, but I cannot reproduce problem with Pizarro in the LAN session with several instances of SB Pro PE v.4.167 running at the same computer... Are there any specific steps?
  13. Correct, upper part pivots left and right, like most of the russian control handles. This layout is just more convenient for use on the desk.
  14. Well... I'd say that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Last autumn russian company called 'Syberion' officially announced a controller device designed specially for AFV simulators and tank games. Now device is ready for series production, and since this Saturday they are taking pre-orders. Device itself is made rugged and may survive some abuse by the user- CNC-machined internals made of tool steel, body pressed of general steel, industrial grade electronic components, and so on. Since device was made for consumer market, It is not ITAR-controlled, but good news are ending here. 1) Device is not cheap- ~500 EUR per current exchange rate(price for russian domestic market) 2) Initially it is going to be released in Russia only. And other markets... Let's say it depends of interest from prospective customers. So question is, if such device is really needed, how many people wish to have it, and how many will actually consider purchasing it, if, hypothetically, controller would be made available to the rest of the world?
  15. -This one is known issue -This is intended behavior; if you need a unit, which is following route, to stop and remain static while you are jumping to some other place, then before abandoning your current unit you need to use 'Engage' command('E' hotkey), or to change route speed settings to 'Halt'. Other alternative is to delete route.

Great, then it is worth to consider purchasing upgrade license for version 4.1
  19. Jartsev

    Lost licence key

Ok, very likely your dongle contains a license for version 4.0, which is not valid for current version 4.1. This means, that if you wish to use version 4.1, you need to purchase an upgrade license ('Upgrade License from version 4.0' option in our webshop). But before buying it makes sense to check if you have any SB Pro PE license stored on your dongle. With dongle plugged in, locate a Codemeter icon in the system tray, right click it and select 'Web Admin'; 'Web Admin' browser-based interface will open and in its 'Container' tab you will be able to see a list of licenses stored on USB dongle. If you have 4.0 license, you will see 'SB Pro PE 4.0' listed there...
  20. Looks like blank Ulandecals.dds file is missing, so issue could be easily addressed by dropping attached file to following folders: My Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures\woodland\uk My Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures\desert\uk My Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures\winter\uk My Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures\autumn\uk Ulandecals.dds
  21. Very likely, destination folder was defined not quite right during installation for some reason
  22. Well, there is a LOT of camo options in game, which do not have artwork to cover all 4 theme types (e.g. woodland, autumn, winter and desert), and in such cases available default artwork is used(in your example with 'US 1980'- from textures/camo/default folder). This is how it always worked; so technically this is not a bug. Obviously an inconvenience, and hands down it would be nice to have all possible combinations covered some day, but this may take time.
  23. Yay, great! Now, just like @Mirzayev already wrote: It is strongly recommended to run Map installer before installing SB. After installing maps and SB with most recent patch it is worth to consider installation of the SB Pro Map Package Transfer Manager v31- get it here: http://dl.steelbeasts.com/MapTransferMgr_V31_Setup.exe -this tool is optional, but you may need it, if in the future you are going to download maps created by community.
