  1. Can we have multiple joystick conectivity? everytime I have to unplug my pedals and my hotas throttle to allow the warthog joystick to be recognized as the main joystick. THanks.
  2. I still waiting more campaign operations. More single player missions. It is good to have users misisons to be downloaded, but would be nice to have more official gameplay in 4.3 etc... at the end this is an entertainment product for us we do not want to train anything, and have difficulties playing with people. Was hopping to have an (special) operations campaign in Ucrania in 4.3 version. Still I hope the miracle arrives. Thanks.
  3. I have 3 monitors. Not curved but 3. 5760x1080 resolution. I cannot put SB in that resolution because FOV is too zoomed in. The only way I did was to put in a window mode and crop the full 5760x1080 to something like 2560x1080. That way the fov is more friendly to me, specially inside the tanks. But there are some of them (bmp2, t72 commander possition) that still are too zoomed in. Of course I can play 1920x1080, but that is the same as asking something to watch a cinema movie in a squared old TV. So an option to increase the FOV in future would be nice, but maybe that is imposible because sight aim calibrations Another thing I would like to add is again the option to have full trackir 6 axis support.
  4. Thanks for the tips. They are well appreciated. No, I am not saying and never thought that the decision had no reason to not include those options in the mission stage. But it is only a shame not to have them. SB planning is really very complicated to do it all from begining, so the more tools we have the better. But I can live without them, of course, specially with the tip you put in your last post.

  6. Hello. I am trying to reproduce this into the last update of SB. I think I could when this video was released, but now the infantry don't move and the vehicle continues its way. There is a way of doing it, It is creating the motion previous to the START of the mission in the MAP window. There, I will have the option "pickup the route if..." (don't know if that is the exact way in english as I do have the menus in spanish). That option will make the same behaviour as in the video, BUT in real time, when I inside the mission, right clicking over the route line, that option won't appear, and that will make that the units won't behave same as in the video with infantry coordination. What I am doing wrong to not have that Line right mouse click "engage route if..." condition window? (also only appears in map previous to start the option "retreat if..." Not in real time mission. Edit: Checking other posts, it seems that the conditional routes only appear in the pre-mission planned time? If that is the way it has to be and those conditional routes menus don't appear in the mission time, what we can do to do the same as in the video? Thanks
  7. Long time without posting, and suppose already said, but for me are important: 1. More axis freedom in trackir motion (possible vr in future? but I don't see the VR too much as in this sim we are a good ammount of time in the map) 2. Hotkey assignation to grouping units. That way I can select them fast with hotkeys as the RTS games do. It was discussed that there is a method to group in SB but I didn't like it so much the way it is done. 3. Lights! Normal visual ones, and IR Lights! Of course visible from long distance. 4. I wish we could use a AWSD method to use the infantery in first person view with right mouse button aiming, as any FPS game. I know this is not a FPS game. 5. More campaigns. I liked the China Farm one, but I need more! 6. And the impossible to make. Reduce the price of the full PE to 50% of it forever. I know.. it is impossible. But maybe you sell the double and make the profit, and I could play with more poeple that they don't buy because the "expensive" price. I understand the "NOs" to all of them from the developer, but those are my wishlist to make this good sim, a great one.
  8. More operations campaings in future. I am loving the china farm Yom Kippur war. A shame that the Shot Kal don't have the full 3D cockpit but it is not really important in the campaing. Wish had more in future even from users. (I know there are some campaign misions (scorpion?) but not as deep as the default one where the win or defeat in one would make different scenario in next.
  9. Thanks for the replies! (now I know it is called scrape en english ) I put a condition of firing max range 2000m so maybe is that the reason. I have to checkout then. Thanks! For the first situation I will pause at begining of the scenario and divide units. It is not the good solution but at least I won't loose too much time doing it while the enemy advance (great campaign, I would like more like this one in future!!). I thought about the mission editor "fix" but I didn't want to see the surprises of it. I would like to see the option to group or ungroup units in the preplaning if the editor didn't make anything with them to trigger something (if possible). 1) I think the emplacements are spaced too far apart. For a platoon to send all four vehicles into the emplacements, they need to be between 25 and 100 meters apart from each other: Problem I have is that the line is not a horizontal one, so I could put an echelon right or left in each situation, but a vehicle would appear in front of the scrapes. But I will try to put them closer and see with the 3D (would be nice to add a future feature to open (not ungroup) the group and move the units where you want in a certain circle distance from the unit center) That way it wouldn't break any script or anything internal. Think about the color of the scrapes in different land conditions. It is clear that sometimes you dig into land and water comes, maybe enough to make grow green grass
  10. By the way... the tanks (automatically) don't go to the end of the hole. They stay in the first step up, resulting totally useless because they don't see anything.   11. Hi! I have a problem. I am in pre-Planing in the defend mission 10 of operations, and I have set my dig holes defensive.. and want to put all the front tanks inside. The single units they do correcly. I just put them in front of the dig-hole in defensive and they advance... but the groups not. Maybe one of them do it, but the other 2 are stopped. Or all of them do not move to the dig-holes. So I was trying to find a way to desaparate the 3 units of tanks into individuals.. but I cannot. So I have to start the scenery and be some time dividing the units and moving in routes to defensive in front of each hole. Very unnecesary if the option to divide the units in pre-planing would be possible (maybe it is and I don't find the way). If not, how do you put the tanks automatically to each hole?   12. I want to add something. I think SB as it is it has a great potential as a (adult) video game. But it needs to "carry" new players better (tutorials, mission ladder skills from easy to hard, etc...), and offer missions and DYNAMIC campaigns, preserving the good of multiplayer (adding more players to the matchs) Thanks.
  13. Ok.. didn't read all the posts, but the first and some of them. For me SB is a simulator-Game. All simulators I got, even hardcore ones are games for me, as I don't and won't never train to make me better in real life in that sim area, as I don't do in real life what the sim offers me. For me each simulator is a way of answering questions I have of how things works (more or less). So no, I don't want to be better in real life armor strategic techniques, or how to manage propertly an specific tank. But I am as valid costumer as a real army man that is training here in this simulator because I pay the same money (in term of economy). What happens in my opinion with SB PE? Noone want to call it a game. I think, most of the people in this community are real part of army, so they don't want to change anything of it. So when you see a PLAYER user your sim, then "you" suffer, because "he" (me) won't do it right. Ok two solutions: 1. You don't sell anymore the PE, so only to army trained people can be sold, and then the sim will become the tool that is expected. 2. You just don't care too much. I would suggest you the second point, as people like me like to have sims like this one. But I would suggest you also make future updates of a new version of SB. SB-Game for 40$ as much and sell in Steam with great graphics. You still would be continue selling the PE edition at normal price and the pro one, but that new one would bring lots of people to the game, that some of them would be interested in the army and would join it. That is what is done by Xplane or FSX in civil flight simulation, and DCS world; where some people join real life flight careers after using them. Of course you will find people doing stupid things and upset because of their behaviour in the game, but that is life. Some DCS modules are so great and much complex than Steel Beast tanks, but people buy them. Some just "fly below bridges" with them and forget them, but other are really masters in the way of flying them.. and you can find real great youtube videos to make other people learn. What happens with SB? As there are not so many people playing, then not so many will make great videos in youtube teaching others. I try my best, but I make lots of mistakes (no problem with that. Sure I know more than others don't know anything... and spread the simulator around). Mostly people are English ones. I find rarelly people from other countries (of course they are there).. so multiplayer sessions are at really bad timetables for european people. No multiplayer, no possible better learning. And yes, SB is not user friendly at all. It is a tool, where people that already knows real armors train themselves. If someone like me comes first time, we can do the tutorials, that are good for manage one vehicle, but we won't find tutorials how to manage hundreds of them. I don't see too much complexity on the way to manage the vehicles compared with a PMDG plane or DCS F14. BUT I see the complexity in the strategy part. The map. That is the reason I asked to make things easier in future updates. Make groups, better way of managing multiple units (click and drag), more as an rst game. Now you will say that the team is not so big, and the scope of the simulator is different. Ok, no problem, but then, you will continue seeing those little youtubers (me included) making the same mistakes you mentioned in the first post. I am a gamer, and sometimes I have felt here like an idiot with some replies of some users. Of course not all are like that, and also found great people, but maybe if we all respect more the game industry as an adult and not children only stuff, then we all gain much more good things. At the end if you ask our wifes, for them ours sims are just games and we still are not mature guys.
  14. TheWood... why do you suppose I realized I had installed Reshade in the game?. In fact I realized that I had it once I saw the exe file and saw the dx9.dll files. It was intalled at the begining and never had a problem with it until one day that the particles disappeared. Maybe the problem was in the 159 and not pervious versions, and I didn't remember I had it because I play not so much to SB, and also because it is normal for me, as said, to include in several games.... What you think is common sense, it is a mistake you make. You "didn't put my shoes" to know why I asked here. Even if I would apply your common sense, I would be not talking this boring conversation with you.... and I would have to spend lot of time searching for what it was a "very easy" at first point problem solution. Life is full of "easy" solutions that are paid very hard, by great people. Hope you don't make same "mistake" I made. Don't judge if you don't want to be judged. Don't want to talk anymore with you, please. I am amazed of the level of intrusion of some poeple in this forum. Happened already several times in the wish future features post..... ANYWAY.....
  15. If you use that injector in every game or sim you have for years, and you don't see anything bad on them. You see other members use the same injector in SB and they don't have the problem, "you" used in 4.023 without any issue, then maybe you could think the problem is not the injector but maybe drivers or something you have intalled? Specially when this problem happens sometimes and others not. Even still I am not 100% sure is because the Reshade program. But the solution for me is not use Reshade. As said, it is a game changer.. and I would like to know how to use it with SB. What I don't understand is why REshade would make particle system disappear completelly in SB while not produce any problem in other 3D engines. Will post in Reshade forums. Maybe they will give me a solution there.
  16. It is reshade. Still with the 4 shaders I had it affected. Just removing the reshade files, but not copying back the SBProPE64.exe file fixed the problem. A shame to loose reshade because it gives me more natural real lighting. Don't know why it affects the particles, but it does... at least to me.
  17. THanks Jartsev for the suggestion. I think I have it more clear now. Because everytime I re-installed the 159 patch it was fixed I installed it in a separate folder to have all the files of the 159 update and see which one was the culprit to restore the particles. I was succeed in the first choose: Just copying the 159 SBProPE64cm.exe it fixed it. So I saw a possible real culprit. Because noone had this issue I thought it was something I had installed in my computer and not esim fault: Reshade. So this was happening: 1. Everytime I quit SB159 and enter again, the particles was disappeared. If I copy the SFProPE64.exe file then they are restored 2. If (still I am not 100% sure) Reshade is modifying anykind of internal code, then it could affect the particle shader. So when I installed reshade, I copied a lot of shaders of it, which I didn't use. What I did was to remove them from the Reshade-shaders/shaders folder of reshade (is in the SB Pro PE/Relese folder) and leave the ReShade.fxh and ReshadeUI.fxh to let reshade work). Now it seems everytime I quit it let the particles "live" But I am not 100% sure that one of those extra Reshade shaders is the culprit, as yesterday and quit several times after removing 4.023 and particles where still there. Maybe Reshade initial calculations when SB starts sometimes affects the particles, and others not. Will point to any change if I find it. But what is sure, is Reshade is a cheat way to let people "see" though battlesights. I never want to cheat, because I love inmersion and all difficulties possible, but I wanted to point my conclusions and findings here. I could deativate Reshade, but trully is a game changer in terms of graphics. Thanks.
  18. Again!!! I thought I fixed it, but not!!! They disappear again!! and it is driving me nuts!!! Help!! I don't know what it could be.. but I reinstalled yesterday all from zero and I have same problem. Is there any log file I can send to you to let you checkout something? I have to be everytime installing the 159 update patch to make them appear!! Is there any shader file or config file that affects the particles rendering that I could write-protect to not allow any change in them? What is clear is that after 159 it is fixed.. but lost after I quit or whatever....
