  13. Thank you Sir, yes the below reply answers that posibility. Interesting enough that´s quite useful, the only problem I see is that it takes a while to load. Once loaded you do have about 15º side-to-side of tape still visible but once you scan past those 15º margens, the tape fades away. I have no idea what the red tape below that is! Another minor problem is the color of the tape versus the background. If you could change the default color that would be cool too. As Rotar states in his post, "thats" what I miss and wished for, a ruler and protractor tools on map. Simple as dragging pointer from point A to point B will show azimuth and range. Some sub sims have that (Silent Hunter, Dangerous Waters). Thank you both! I was not aware of the "K" key azimuth function!
  14. As for 1, yes Iam aware of that one but no degree markings that I know of. As for 2, I think I missed this, or maybe not. No, you could have a GPS type, or electronic compas (isolated) that don´t spin next to metal chunks. Sure we have the CMD view on some tanks that will show which degree your pointing on the tactical screen, and if you lase you could even get range. But I don´t see a "range" ruler in the map view for plotting, that´s what I miss... Eiher way, thank you Sir for pointing out these two options.
  15. - Probably wished before but anyway, a on map ruler for measuring distance from point-to-point. By that, I don´t mean in the editor. - A compas like in Arma II-III.
