  1. Baghdad Raid - Thunder run - updated version

    Changes: Difficulty adjusted so that the scenario can be more authentic, enjoyable and playable in single player mode. The player is now able the select Difficulty during the mission. (Normal or Hard mode) see the briefing for details. This scenario depicts the "Thunder run" of 5th April 2003 in Baghdad along Highway 8. Just put the *.sce file to "My scenarios" folder & enjoy. I've also made an ambient file for the scenario - Its up to you wheter you want to use it or not (look for it in the mods section). It took me quite a few months to make this mission&terrian, but I hope it was worth it. I've also attached the terrain file hat I made for this mission (its not necessary to use it because its already embeded in the *.sce file) in case somedy else wants to work with it/expand it later.   2. Leopard engine sound mod v3.0 - reduced volume

    Reduced the volume of v3.0 since it was a bit loud - effects are the same though. Here is the final version - v3.0 (I have so many sound files that I've unfortunately packed the wrong sounds last night into the mod package) I would say this is the real deal Enjoy: Just place them into your \My Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\sounds\FX folder.

    5 skins are included in this package, differing in colour scheme, air recognition panel, gun colour. Screenshots are included in each subfolder to make selection easier.
    Extract & place the files in the "Desert" folder into your ...Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures\desert folder.

    Make sure you copy both the "challenger2desertized" and the "challenger_decals" files into the mods/desert folder

    TIS - place skin found in the TIS folder into your mod/TIS folder

    This skin uses the original desert skin (made by Dejawolf) from Steel Beasts Pro PE for the Challenger 2 with CIP panels and vision blocks

    added to it. Vision blocks were taken from the skins of Captain_Colossus - all credits go to him for his work.

    The file contains two folders, these are "Desert" and "TIS".

    Installation:

    Desert:

    Place the files in the "Desert" folder into your ...Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\mods\textures\desert folder:
    - challenger2desertized.dds
    - challenger_decals.dds

    TIS:

    This is the sequel to the scenario Valley of the Jackal. I've made a pretty good ambient mp3 file for this mission - all you have to do is open it with Windows media player or Winamp & just let it run in the backround - it really helps to create a cool atmosphere The events & OPFOR units are heavily randomized - so the mission will not play out twice the same way.
